And for clarification. This scald debuff works on all characters, but only on physical attack damage. Every character uses physical attack damage for their basic attacks. And some characters use Physical Attack for their skills, while some use Sp.Atk. Sp.Atk damage is unaffected. Characters that use Physical attack for their skills (and are majorly affected by Scald) include, Greninja, Cinderace, Zeraora, Charizard, Absol, Crustle, Garchomp, Lucario, Machamp, Snorlax, and Talonflame. So, sorry when I said Venusaur and Gengar at the end! It will affect them, but only their basic attacks
I love this because it shows with the right amount of research we can learn counter play against characters/strategies in games without it getting nerfed, excellent video

I still cant figure out how to beat a double team + shuriken greninja build. I cant find any tips on the net and its the only opponent idk how to counter

It’s only for a few seconds but by the time the reduction ends, scald is a second off cooldown so there is a technical 1 second delay between damage reductions.
I actually want to try rushing him at the start of the game kill him takr his jungle then go back to normal then do it again when the buffs reset. Theres a common greninja strat thats pretty bullshit
I’m a Greninja main and I loved how I learned more about my own Mon along with his counter. I’m looking forward to playing Slowbro now. I also loved what you said, “You can’t beat your opponent if you don’t know how they work.” What happens often is people just don’t research or learn their opponent before asking for a nerf. No, you just wanted to keep doing what you were doing without thinking and blaming the Mon for being OP. Goes for any character in any game. Thanks for your expertise and sharing!
If greninja gets his unite by the first dreadnaw fight its literally game over if he knows what hes doing. Generally the team is gonna be hurting and grouped up he has plenty of bushes to hide in he can easily time it and take out half the team clean up the rest and burn dread. They then get level advantage which carries them to victory as once this happens the rest of the team has their unite moves rushes rotom while your team is slowly respawning, under leveled proceeds to wipe your team again with unites then easily take rotom and after that youre so under leveled theres almost nothing you can do to get any momentum to catch up. Its devastating at the first drednaw and if you hit 3 players with it youve pretty much won the entire game if youre playing with competent team mates
Lucario is annoying as hell though for sure since he has invincibility. I mean he doesnt but if you know what youre doing you should never die from anything thats not extremely out numbering you or unite moves

For me Lucario is more annoying than Greninja, Greninja is super squishy and the Unite sucks.
Scald works well against Lucario as well!
