Does the boiler just run constantly with weather compensation? I like the sound of not having to mess about with room stats etc but worry about parts of the house being warm and some being cold due to different levels of heat loss. How is that factored into running weather comp? Rad trvs or something?
@@rodgerq it uses exactly the right amount of energy. Think about driving London to Manchester at 56 miles an hour non stop v same total time but with 15 mins on 15 mins off. Which uses less fuel ?
@@andrewmillwardwatford9410 yeah that's a good analogy, I have experience of both types of journey being from Scotland and working in derby during the week and do notice a difference depending on traffic conditions.
It looks at the outside temperature and calculates the energy required to compensate for the heatloss. By controlling the flow temperature it perfectly matches the heatloss giving stable temperature, total comfort and great efficiency.
Hi Great video. I was wondering if you recommend any heating design software ? I am looking to move into heating system design etc. Also what boiler make/model is your favourite to install ?

It runs on two temperatures. Normal and setback. But yes it runs continually
@@andrewmillwardwatford9410 clearly I'm wrong or it wouldn't be a thing but it seems like it would use a lot of energy.

Hi. Thanks for the video. What controls the temperature in the rooms?
