Panzerkampfwagen V Panther is a legendary WW2 era German medium tank. All major production models of the Panther family are present in our game. The chassis of the Panther was used to build quite a few combat vehicles of other types, many of which can also be found in War Thunder… But let’s start from the very beginning!

@@jakobc.2558 Depends on sherman. Jumbo can take hits all day long and m4a2 with the 75mm gun can bounce nearly everything at it's br. Their guns are satisfactory, if you know how to use them and they have stabilaisers. Stop whining about shermans and get gud.

My absolute favorite Panther ist the Panther A due to his absolute fast turret rotation speed. It's like a modern MBT
İt also has best engine of all Panthers which means better acceleration.
The panther g is a good choice now as well but it has a thinner lower plate and weaker engine
I like the panther F, but that's because I'm a sniper type, and that thing is just made for sniping. the faster reload is also a very nice perk

I have two favorites, one being the Panther A, and the other being the removed Panther II, which I was able to get before 1.91, along with the Tiger II 10.5 cm and the Maus. Sadly, I didn’t get the Flakpanzer 341, aka the Coelian.

IMO, it would be fine to add another TT Panther II. Same hull, but Panther G turret (Better armor cuz gaijined turret), like where it is stored IRL

My favorite Panther is the one that can't see my little AMX and leaves its sides open
Its always the little tanks that kill me when ever I play my panther. Here's an example last weak me and some team mates were on a hill killed three or four guys and then a bush covers su 57 that everyone on our side ignored. Drove up behind me killed me and then proceeded to kill the other three guys who were completely oblivious to his presence

My favourite ww2 german tank!!
For me,İt’s sexiest tank of WW2.She has a great 75mm Kwk42 gun which almost have same penetration as Soviet 122mm D-25T and his angled 80mm frontal armor have better protection than Tiger I’s.
Im glad that I still have my Panther 2, Coelion, Maus and Tiger 2 10.5, I actually waited until the update so I did not have to buy the 10.5 to get the Maus

Sorry for the players who didn't get the panther II, I have it and it's a Germans wet dream but if I had to say which panther is my favorite it's the panther A , if you get your BR of 5.7 it so OP even a BR of 6.0 or 6.7 it can still dominate the field.

It's because the Ersatz M10 doesn't have APCR shells.

One question, what was the exact reason why the Panther 2 had to go
the tank as it was ingame never existed and it's physically impossible to build. I still dont think it was a good choice since they didn't offer a valid 6.7 replacement.

Actually, one Panther II chassie was built, with all of it's componentes except of the turret (the british put a Panther G turret to simulate how the tank will look like)

Fun fact, some forced laborers sabotaged the manufacturing process.

You need to change the Javelin. Its true top speed at sea level is 710 mph but you have it so it rips its wings as 645 mph at sea level, like wtf
What do you expect... they havent even given the chally 2 the proper armour values, charm shells, the STANDARDIZED battle package, or proper turret rotation. They hate Britain.

I think the Panther Ausf G is the best in my opinion. Its a pretty impressive tank in battle.
I know the panther 2 was never really made, but don't ignore it cause you decided to take it out of the tech tree. And hardly a soul agreed with your decision.
1 lower hull of the Panther 2 was made and stands in a museum in the USA fittet with an Ausf. G turret.

@@eligo1363 The main reason to make a Panther 2 was that the side armour was to weak to withstand AT-rifles. So the idea was that if the hull had to be redesigned anyway that they would also include multiple improvements. Than they found out that thin metal sideskirts would already increase the Panther 1 protection enough so instead of retooling all factories to a new tank they just added sideskirts to the existing ones, making the Panther 2 unnessesary.
Fitting an 8,8cm gun into a Panther turret was never more than a proposed idea, so it was never tested how well or not it would have worked.
The "Panther M10" is my favorite. this is because the germans had some knowledge how to blend in
