The Speaks received the Silver Award at the 23rd Annual Mid-Atlantic Songwriting contest in the rock category for the song High. High competed against thousands of entries from around the region.

2005 nung una ko marinig yung song nato, nsa sskyan kami ng frnd ko galing cvte. Sbi pa ng frnd ko nun sino yng ka duet ng the speaks sb ko pa si jasmine trias hehe hnd pla si barbie almabis pla. Wla nmn nalala ko lng yng mga time nayun bata pa ako high school aq nun 4th yr. Blis tlga ng panahon ngyn 31 n ako 15yrs ganun kabilis.. fave ko parn to song na to.
