I owe you a big thank you baskwth. Because of your video I finally learned how to grip my own board! so thank you very much for what you are doing for the youtube community. I really appreciate it
I replied to his comment cause there is no wrong way we can do it anyway we can think of, there is no magical way to grip a board with no bubbles just gotta put it done good and if you get a bubble just pop it and smooth it out, no biggie
Hey. Recently I've been drifting away from skating. I had an operation on my front foot, and couldn't skate for a while, and was finding it hard to get pumped to go skate again. As soon as I saw that perfect heel-flip at 7:50, I wanna go skating. Thanks Baskwith.
hey dude, I don't ever tighten my axel nuts all the way, I still use the washers but I like a little wiggle, feels like it lets the wheel spin more freely :)
lol at incorrect way, I didnt know there was only 1 way you could grip a board. Even the way you said to do you can still get air bubbles as well. Funny how people on youtube judge or try to tell people they are doing something wrong
Got my first bad scrape skating and thought I might relax with some good skate videos. I guess it was inevitable I haven’t even been doing this for a week.
I'm about to get a new setup myself. Venture low superlights, Deathwish 7.75, Spitfire 52mm, Shake Junt Bearings, Grizzly tape, Diamond bolts. Gon go to the store this weekend and get it :D
i think the wheels and his deck look fine. graphics typically don't say much about the quality of the deck. if he skates as awesome as he does, there's nothing much you can say about them. the hardware is bright, but that doesn't change how it holds the trucks to the deck. and everyone can have their own opinions on jessup grip. i guess he likes it, and there's nothing wrong with that.
i agreed with doug and baskwith theres not just one way to grip your board but it all and personal preference and i been gripping boards for about 4 years now but even though that seems like a short amount of time it still puts expierience under my belt so im pretty sure how u grip boards that your more likely to get more air bubbles
@Luke Barker Obviously. Haha he always rides em! But they do have a problem where the bushings squish out. Im not sure if thats because of the bushings that come with theeves or if its the geometry of the truck and the angle of the kingpin. I think they come with bones hardcore mediums but im not sure. Ive never had them but ive heard things about them and have seen some reviews.
that was like the best grip job I've ever seen
6:44 Good catch! :D

Love the perfect edge cutting of the grip tape nice setup bro
it helps round off the grip around the kicks, to help stop it peeling back :)
is that your own private skate park?
Why is it so satisfying to watch people setup brand new skate setups?
Every time I watch one of these I ask myself "why am I watching this" I come up with no answer but I keep watching
Dude, your so good! So clean! Love watching your films!
