Well, we were already told that he was going to the Eternal Trial Grounds incredibly early, so it can't be helped if he encounters a few life threatening situations. Their greatest mistake was allowing him to leave. Once our boy packs on a few levels into his second class transfer they'll get more than they bargained for. He is still in desperate need of a flying type summon to deal with the likes of the Ancient Phoenix and the Succubi though.
He will get that flying dragon mage mentioned few chapters back... Giving it to him too early would give plot armor another plot armor
I'm still waiting for more details on that giant goblet from earlier. I mean he took it, but not sure what it all means
the insect king could fly i think, but is a bit on the weaker side by now. still not sure why he never even tried on one of the dragons, be it earth dragon or the palace dragons
In my opinion Lin screwed up right from the start by letting that flying demon chick get away.

On thing people don't take into account on shared HP pools like Life Link is that over damage abilities are more effective. For example if Skeleton with 10K HP gets hit by boss for 1M Damage then 990K of that is wasted. But if his skeletons are all linked and one is hit for 1M Damage that's 100 skeletons worth of HP wiped out. AoE Spells can be even worst as it's multiple over damage hits.
I play a lot of tactical games and many cases lots of small units can out perform one big unit because either need AoE or lots of attacks to hit them all. Because a lot of players like powerful units that hit hard, but often have low number of attacks. Lin has been suffering a lot because of powerful AoE from bosses. Linking their HP can end up being a double edged sword. Though since our MC has plot armor the ability will most likely always be a positive.

Good to see our Protagonists Lin shared the wealth and got a good ability like Life link. However I would've liked if he received a Lvl. 1 flying mount than can keep upgrading with every successful battle and kill. That would be a great concept in my opinion.

Probably not if Polygamy is legal. Given how the profession system works, chances are it is. So at most she'll miss out on being his first wife. She's probably training so she can keep up with Lin and actually be useful. My guess is that she'll accompany him the next time he goes to the trial grounds so she can get a primordial rune. It'd also be nice to have her invisibility detection considering the demon kings are VERY upset with him.

that new talent is too op....he can technically hide few skeletons whose only job is to be kept healed since healing is transferred among the skeletons as well....the only thing he lack right now is a pure healer skeleton.....i wonder if he will ever get one....
The Healing from the general is more than enough. He just needs the spirit to summon another general. Through the Talent their healing should stack.

Hmmm, if it works the way we think it does... *pulls out calculator* At level 34 he should have on average 170 warriors and 169 mages. The Warriors have a constitution of around 19,000. So multiply that by 170 and we get 3,230,000 Constitution. Do the same with the mages who should have around 4,700 constitution and multiply that by 169 you get 794,300. Combine them you get 4,024,300. You can then add 27k for the hero general then up to 60000 max from one of his soul summons to get 4,111,300. Then if you consider the effect of Mighty Soldiers which increases attributes by 200% and you get a staggering 8,222,600 constitution. At this point no dungeon within his level range can threaten him. Saving he doesn't encounter bosses with gimmicks, leveling up should be a breeze.

Objectively, Lin isn't that strong. It's purely plot armor that he isn't dead.
At his level, most people have a lot more attributes than him, aside from spirit. The only thing keeping him alive is his skeletal armor combined with damage transfer and now this life link talent. But with his divinity his stats are really going to start to take off, especially after his second class transfer. Even if the blow killed him, he'd resurrect at the Hall of Heroes. I also think he still has that amulet that will nullify one instance that he'd die.
Wow, this is more danmachi than danmachi. We got a few arcs of different dungeons and pick up girls including the succubus/succubi. But I guess Lyn will end up with the sister as waifu.

Chances are Yiyi will be back when Lin goes back to the Eternal Trial grounds to get revenge on the Ancient Luan / Phoenix on his way to the next layer. That probably won't be until sometime after his second class transfer though.

He's humanitarian focused. Which means he often puts his needs to the side when it comes to acquiring benefits for humanity. He's also too nice when it comes to carrying people inside dungeons. Only White Divine can convince him to knock it off and focus on leveling.

@@june2702 I mean, it's the eternal trial grounds. He wasn't even supposed to be there at his level, but white divine insisted. Normally you'd go here after your second class transfer / evolution. So it makes sense that the gear here would be direct towards people's 3rd class transfer. Once he starts running the dungeons back in the Academy he'll start getting lower level gear for second class transfers again. Show all of this 3rd transfer stuff just gives us something to look forward to.

Like how tf do you beat 500 skeletons (which cant die if you cant do 500x skeleton hp in 1 attack)
He can only have around 340 skeletons currently. Even with all of his damage sponge capabilities, including Life link, that blow nearly got him. I'm sure it's still not enough to handle the Ancient Luan / Phoenix or Mina either.

We'll have to see how his second class transition goes which is probably the goal White Divine will give him next. At that time he might have a chance against the Ancient Luan.
