Ok hear me out: a house where every room is a different room. I know it sounds weird but like you put all the different rooms on a wheel and spin it and each room will be a randomized room. So like what would normally be the living room might be the bathroom and what normally would be the upstairs teen room might be the entry way.
I like the idea of doing this as a series (not necessarily regularly, just multiple videos like it whenever you want) and going through the catalogue of "ugly" houses to flip them. It has a just slightly different vibe than when you guys make your own houses that's really satisfying
The urn actually brought the story of this house and its residents together for me! It's clearly a small house, and the set up seems to be for one adult and one child. A mother and her young son, who have moved in after the tragic death of the father, who was a ranger or a mountain climber. Mom and dad used to travel before the baby came, and Mom still upholds that tradition with their son. She hopes he grows up to love the outdoors as much as his father did
I like to imagine that this house was sold for peanuts to a low-income family, who then came into some money and hired C&C Renovations to help them turn it into their dream home
Maybe they're not low-income, they just spend thousands of dollars every month traveling to look for their toddler that keeps running away into the wilderness.

I absolutely love when y'all do base game builds. As a college student with no time, no money, and no bitches; it's so nice to see how fun and interesting base game builds can look, it makes me want to procrastinate my life away on the sims even more :')
As someone who doesn't have the space on their computer to get the expansions and stuff, I agree with you! (Pls guys, I know the seven seas route is simple but my laptop is OLD and can barely load the base game)

It’s never the base game updates you expect that make a big difference. I use the new rugs and beds from the infant update and nearly every build, packs or no packs. They just look so good! And the trunk table is unironically my favorite coffee table I love it so much.
This house gives me such good memories. I used to live in Florida as a kid for nine years of my life and I halived in a small but cozy house that looks just like that! Though the house does have soem different things from what I used to live in ( the outside walls were brick), it just really gives me joy and memories. This is one of my favorite videos!!
I can't tell you how many random little things in this build were nostalgic childhood memories for me, like, random furniture in green? The dark wood everything? The vent outside below the roof? So random but they all reminded me of places I lived when I was little 😢
I want to say, since watching you guys, my builds have completely been elevated. I’m still not great, but the little tricks you’ve taught me have made it more fun to build, and I think that really reflects in what I make. I don’t have a good attention span for building though, so I still haven’t made very much lol
@@-MoonSphere- They're using the free-floating camera. To access it, hit Tab at any time in build or live mode and use WASD to move it around, Q and E to move up and down and your mouse to look around. You can still zoom in this mode
The house went from single dad who works to jobs who loves his kid and never stops with gentle hands and the heart of a fighter. Pure survivor to a single dad who does like archeology or something with an interest in interior design and diys his own stuff raising his terrible two climbing toddler who has a vandetta against being on the floor
I had a similar thought actually! The urns what turned it from a somewhat cramped three person home to a single parent and their young son making a new life in the memory of the other parent in my mind
I love your guy's videos so much! Not gonna lie, this is like my fourth time watching this video and after seeing the "every room is three by three" I can't stop hearing "bug arch" instead of "big arch", lol. It is also for like every video you guys say "big arch".
I'd love to see a challenge where you have to use at least 1 significant item related to the type of room (i.e. bed for bedroom, toilet for bathroom, etc.) from any pack or base game that you HATE and make it look good. This would include the hated item and hated color swatch for said item. Another idea would be to see you two build a multilevel house with terraces as part of the design. Like the terraces for farming, so multiple layers of planter boxes or foundations. Also... URN URN URN.
You should do a build where you take a pre-built house and you have to redecorate it using only the things already in the build- maybe a small budget for things you can sell or add but mostly just stuff that’s already there

I love when you do purely base game builds. It shows that you don't need all the extra stuff to make cute houses in the sims! Especially if one is broke and can't afford them XD
Challenge idea: Bring out the iconic spinner wheel.... Each part of the spinner is given one of the items/wall papers that are a recurring joke that never gets used/gets used in almost every build. E.g. - Whalbert, Fairy Lights, Dot Wallpaper, Bay Window, Urn, Light Switch, Garbage Can... These items will be the theme of each random room (room must be picked or specified before the spinner is spun). The actual item must be incorporated while also being the theme (subtle or overt inclusion doesnt matter). Bonus add-on: You cannot use the theme item in any other room. This will make a giant challenge for trying to make a cohesive house.
