Warm December 8

Finally, the weather improved enough to go drone flying. I decided to head to my favorite park, Alley Magnet Park in Apple Valley. I ventured to the south end this time, a section I rarely visit. It's quite nice there, especially when the lake freezes over a bit.
I started with some shots and videos, flying the drone across the lake at low levels. Then, I captured some higher-elevation shots showcasing the bare trees. One of my favorite shots was the following shot, where I walked across a little wooden bridge.
Most of my footage focused on the lake and the trees, with very little of myself in the frame. There was one flyby shot where the drone passed me and headed towards the lake. I didn't check how well it turned out, but it felt good.
Overall, it was a good day for flying. It was a bit chilly and cloudy, but that meant no harsh shadows, which is always a plus. All in all, I had a good day flying.
