Selama menonton ini ada banyak hal yang saya rasakan. Saya rasa saya melewati masa Remaja saya dengan terburu-buru, saya tidak tahu kalau itu adalah masa terbaik seumur hidup saya. Saya pikir good grades adalah segalanya, ternyata saya salah. Seharusnya saya lebih banyak berteman, menerima cinta-cinta yang pernah mampir, seharusnya. Sedih sesedih sedihnya.

I never questioned the fact that Choi Taek is the husband. It made me realized how perfect timing affects our daily lives. Once you lose it, it’s gone forever. Choi Taek will always be that one and only person that is so compatible to Deok Sun. From the very beginning, I already felt that they need each other more than everything. I’m glad that this drama taught us so many lessons in life choices, family, friendship and love. Something that I would treasure forever. Reply 1988, I will always be back for you.

Jujur aku terlambat nonton drama ini, setelah sekian lama sibuk sama kerjaan, akhirnya selama WFH bisa nonton lagi drama. Hehe.. Daaaan... Ahh kangen masa-masa itu, memang yg namanya kenangan tidak bisa diulang, dan drama ini sangat komplit dan real, suka duka, tangis dan tawa, semuanya mewakili. Kekeluargaan, pertemanan, semuanya sangat manis, seolah-olah kita ada di antara mereka, dan ini emang real banget menggambarkan semuanya meskipun waktu itu blm ada gadget. Drama ini dikemas dengan sangat LUAR BIASA. Sumpaaaah aku nangiiis... due to home quarantine..I have ample time to Netflix binge...I finished this drama 2 days ago hahaha better late than never...this is one of the most beautiful k drama I've ever watched. Made me miss my neighborhood, family, childhood friends, and my first love. Every episode got me and made me cry like a baby. this is really worth watching 10/10....as good as Mr. Sunshine.
when I heard the song "Don't worry Dear" I suddenly remembered the mothers in the story.. and it made me feel something sad for what they have experienced in their lives and at the same time it makes me smile for remembering their stories, for being so brave and strong mother.. for doing what they can do to provide the needs of their children.. likewise to the fathers who have been so hard/tough but having soft side when it comes to their loved ones.. I sooooo, love this drama.. and I fall inlove to some of the characters, like Sunwoo and Bo Ra.. 😊

The storytelling was amazing. I love all the characters. And by all, I mean everyone talaga. From the five friends, their parents, their siblings and everyone in the neighborhood. Their friendship and love for family, nakakaiyak. Nakakamiss maging bata. Sobrang worth my time, kahit almost two hours isang episode. It really touched my heart. Andaming realizations and all. And if you'll asked me why I only gave it 9.99 as a rating, instead of 10? Well, the missing 0.01 is for making me feel broken hearted, even though I don't have a lovelife (Junghwan 💔) Anyways.. let's all appreciate the beauty of our youth. Ini drama yang bikin ga bisa tidur, ga bisa bikin apa2, cuma kebayang2 betapa ceritanya sangat indah. Ditulis, diperankan dan diceritakan dengan sangat indah. Selama menonton ini ada banyak hal yang saya rasakan. Saya rasa saya melewati masa Remaja saya dengan terburu-buru, saya tidak tahu kalau itu adalah masa terbaik seumur hidup saya. Saya pikir good grades adalah segalanya, ternyata saya salah. Seharusnya saya lebih banyak berteman, menerima cinta-cinta yang pernah mampir, seharusnya. Sedih sesedih sedihnya.

I never questioned the fact that Choi Taek is the husband. It made me realized how perfect timing affects our daily lives. Once you lose it, it’s gone forever. Choi Taek will always be that one and only person that is so compatible to Deok Sun. From the very beginning, I already felt that they need each other more than everything. when I heard the song "Don't worry Dear" I suddenly remembered the mothers in the story.. and it made me feel something sad for what they have experienced in their lives and at the same time it makes me smile for remembering their stories, for being so brave and strong mother.. for doing what they can do to provide the needs of their children.. likewise to the fathers who have been so hard/tough but having soft side when it comes to their loved ones.. I sooooo, love this drama.. and I fall inlove to some of the characters, like Sunwoo and Bo Ra.. 😊

What I love about this kdrama is the simplicity of the story - no heavy drama, walang kontrabida and such. Just pure love and friendship in the Ssangmundong neighborhood. You know the feeling of being empty, but full at the same time? Yun ako after ko panuorin 'to. Like, really. I love everything about this drama. I love how its slow-paced. The storytelling was amazing. I love all the characters. And by all, I mean everyone talaga. From the five friends, their parents, their siblings and everyone in the neighborhood. Their friendship and love for family, nakakaiyak. Nakakamiss maging bata. Sobrang worth my time, kahit almost two hours isang episode. It really touched my heart. Andaming realizations and all. And if you'll asked me why I only gave it 9.99 as a rating, instead of 10? Well, the missing 0.01 is for making me feel broken hearted, even though I don't have a lovelife (Junghwan 💔) Anyways.. let's all appreciate the beauty of our youth.

I've watched this film for the first time =))) It really touches my heart and i cant share my feelings with anyone. Bcz all my friends watched it 4 years ago =))) This film seems to be another version of my childhood with my best friends in my old town.

Maraming matututunan at marerealize. 18 palang ako pero feeling ko isa na kong matanda na namimiss ang kabataan. 😂 Kudos to the directors, staffs and actors. I watched it for the 2nd time, coz i really miss ssangmundong neighbourhood , and still when it comes to the last episode i felt like i lost my childhood. The story bring me back to my childhood life, 80s-90s was the best moment. I miss my youth wish i can turn back time when my dad still alive 😭 i will watch it again next time. Never get bored!

Nyesel baru nonton drama ini, dan sampe sekarang kaya kena syndrom reply 1988. berasa banget ada didalam nya, berasa jadi orang ke 6 dari 5 sekawan ini. dari drama ini jadi tau arti pertemanan yg sebenernya. dari cerita jung hwan yg cintanya tak sampai ke duk seon, malah makin dibikin baper sama cerita pertemanan 5 sekawan ini apalagi pas taek datengin jung hwan ditempat dinasnya itu trus jung hwan bilang "kejar duk seon". aku ambyar berasa jadi jung hwan

Drama paling relate, setiap takarannya pas, ga ngajak penonton untuk halu malah ngajak penonton mengulang hal2 yg mungkin mereka lupakan di masa kecil,remaja mereka. Sudah hampir 70 an drama yg udah kutonton tapi yg satu ini belum tergantikan, maasih kokoh di tempat pertama, seindah itu ❤❤

lagi nonton ini di netflix telat bgt sih soalnya keluarnya 5 thn lalu tp baru dipertemukan skrg, smpt liat beberapa cuplikan di youtube eh cari di netflix ada, udh episod lima belas :( lagi diirit iritin karna gamau cepet" abis ga rela bgt pgn bgt mereka bikin season 2, syg bgt sm drama ini, gabisa bayangin klo nanti udh tamat 😭
Juni 2020 and I can't move with this drama.
I don't regret watching this masterpiece. I just finished it today and I already miss the Ssangmundong neighborhood. I'll miss them especially the squad :< I can't move on from the ending tho. I will be happy if they reunite again just like the good old times.
Separation anxiety is real after watching this series. Good job to the mind behind this series. And much applause to the effective portrayal of actors and actresses. You made us viewers live and re-live with so much love and attachment to the time, place and ties you shared wholeheartedly. There is so much heart into it. It tackles love, family, emotional, cultural, behavioral, generation gaps, even legal issues. Brilliantly created. Plus factor is the great choice of background songs and Soundtracks.
