I agree with both of you completely. I started to support this team before they became "Astralis" and what impressed me was how they played. With xyp9x as my favourite player and the double D (as Warowl called them) this team was approaching the game in a very different way in that time. They weren't looking powerful aimwise but they had some magical teamplay. Later Glaive was added and we've seen some of the best teams to play this game. I was never a fan of Heroic, mostly because of Cadian's repulsive attitude on matches towards other players and their baiting style of CS. For Astralis, they showed how much damage can be done to your org and its reputation in a very short period. I really feel sorry for Device for he is the reason I still feel a bit sad everytime Astralis take a loss. But I was almost sure that Ence would easily win this one. And great for Glaive as well, they deserve the major a lot more than this current Astralis. When every team was scrambling rosters, Astralis was one example of solid team structure. Now what has become is kinda shameful. Aim is important but with Buzz and Steahr they seemed to be building a team structure. Where is it gone? How is this team better with all that investment. Embarrassing performance from stavn and especially jabbi. That one round where he just leaves temple and goes mid even tho blameF already was mid letting ence win the round was shocking decision making which I don't understand who made it.
BlameF needs to adjust the system, heroic was crazy aggressive which works with jabbis entries and stavns trade fragging. Now they're all playing very flat and passive opting for more retakes than gamble stacks. Individually they might be a little off but it's more than just them.

For jabbi or stavn to sit stagnant for a minute every round and then hold a 4 man push solo is just not setting anyone up for success. And then their on T side basically playing default the entire game, doesn't work with these players.

The terrible stuff Astralis have done : - Would not give leave to players, made burnt out players get medical certificates after they were travelling non stop for 4 months post Berlin Major. - told Flashpoint that they would be going to Flashpoint, then didnt answer emails and calls and were announced as a louver agreement team. - Manipulated player contracts by bringing in Es3tag Bubzki and Juggi and pretending a 10 man roster would be a thing. In reality it was because all 5 OG Astralis players contracts ended at the same time and the org didn't like the negotiating power that gave them. - ruined Bubzki's careers, Lucky's career, Farligs career, Buzz, Altex all because they needed an out. - Engaged with Hunden while Hunden was still contracted to Heroic, and only worked with ESL because it would prevent them from being penalised for Hunden sending the Heroic Strat book to them. - Engaged Hunden during his ban, under the guise of Aimlabs. - Likely paid for Hundens legal fees to make ESIC reneg his ban - Hired Hunden. And this isnt even going into Nikolaj Lyholm and the Refresh saga.
Ence seems to find a way no matter what player moves they need to do and with not that much money. For sure the org has done lots of things right past 2 years or so.
Common Astralis L brought by gla1ve and friends featuring stabbi, baitF, NIP dev1ce and a random. 2nd time they pick Ancient vs ENCE so they can prove the 1st one wasn't a fluke, blameF took gla1ve's IGN school but forgot he didn't graduate and is now getting extra lessons. At this point, might as well bring back xyp from the bench, but first get rid of this marvel villain lineup and get a proper IGN.

Blamef has nice firepower acording to his stats, but the igling is clearly lacking. The problem is who to kick, staehr would look like the "obvious" choice but Astralis invested a lot in him and I doubt the are kicking him so soon, besides he has been alright as a support.

Astralis, the Org that used to be incredible and is now forever doomed to never be able to live up to what it used to be. I don’t even get why Stabbi jumped ship to them. Heroic was constantly improving while Astralis were struggling to even be in contention for anything meaningful.
This is on BlameF. You have a great team on paper, but you can't get it to work, that's an igl issue in my book. Too many teamplay errors and the calling is really off at times. Blame is on of the best riflers in the game with great game sense but a very mediocre igl
