As Aussies, my wife and I found this series on Netflix and was hooked.. even with subtitles. We watched the whole 5 seasons of Ertrugul and then went on to the series on his son Osman from whom came the Ottoman Empire… best actors and strong women characters as well.

Ertugrul Ghazi is a historical figure dating back to the 13th century, who belonged to the 'Kayi tribe' and fought for his religion, conquering many lands in the name of Allah. He was the son of Suleyman Shah of Oghuz descent. Ertugrul's son, Osman, succeeded the throne and founded the Ottoman Empire around 1299. And ruled for 600+ years.
The presence of erturul was such divinely. and blessed that even bad hearted enemy want to act like brave n good hearted before him n shy..,n try to compete with goodness,in front of erturul bey
