I can't even begin to express how much your music means to me, but I'll try. I first heard your music about two or three years ago, and I was instantly hooked. The deep emotions - rage, grief, hope - in your songs struck a chord with me. "Angry" music always has made me feel seen. But I could never pinpoint why I was so angry, why I felt such a strong connection to your music. Until last month - memories of being SA'd as a child resurfaced, memories I had buried so deep in my psyche. My childhood trauma is the root of my rage and needing to use my voice to fight for myself. I'm still processing all the rage and grief that has come with this revelation, but your music - and this song in particular - has been a huge part in letting myself feel the anger I wasn't allowed to feel or express as a child. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your music and your emotions with the world - it's helped people like me become more in touch with our own emotions. I'm forever grateful for the part you're playing in my own recovery journey, even though we've never met. Keep sharing your light with the world.

What the song is about resonates with me a lot, well about people who have been in my life. Optimism making them seem like the most beautiful flower in the garden, so full of the nectar of potential but then thinking a little further u see they never started growing and chose to rot away as a little flower bud and that that beautiful flower withers away as ur idealization wears off
