Bayonetta honestly has its own charm when it comes to music. The music just feels elegant and femenine. And I think they achieved this by not incormporating an electric guitar in any track. JoJo music is also amazing. But it feels more masculine and powerful. If you get me.

I know you commented this ten months ago, but I have to agree with you. This small break in the song does a fantastic job showing a bit of Jeanne's true character. Up until the player's first fight with her, Jeanne presented herself as being a character that equals Bayonetta in power, but is always one step ahead of her; taunting her leading up to their first real fight. But even though her and Bayonetta are fighting, Jeanne knows that she's only doing it so she can have her friend back. Her Umbran sister that she misses so dearly. In this brief moment when the song softens, the listener can feel Jeanne's affection for Bayonetta; for Cereza. She cares for her deeply but she must keep up this facade just a bit longer. And that's when the music picks back up. Jeanne puts her "mask" back on and continues the fight to regain her long lost friend. This is a beautiful example of story telling through audio 💜🦇👠💜
