Based (for short) is a project that shows what would happen if the DOFR composers took on the challenge of redoing the main game MSM islands. Originally crafted as a way to get back at the MSM Recomposed team for them doing Dawn of Fire, it's morphed into a passion project far beyond anything we could've expected. Will the project have Individual Sounds? No. The songs are NOT built with individuals in mind, and many of the project files are so old they've corrupted in some form. Some songs will have them, but that's gonna be on the composer's channels and not here. When's the next song coming out? Tomorrow if you're watching this in the few days after it comes out, whenever the next batch comes out if you're not. When's the next batch coming out? As soon as it's finished. Will all of the songs have these great thumbnails? Yes! Every thumbnail will have unique art by Sir Magma, or one of 3 guest artists (You'll have to wait and see!) What do the icons in the corner of the thumbnail mean? The rightmost icon is for the composer, and the one to the left is the editor. Why is the editor on the thumbnail? I would say something like "Because we do a lot of work!" but it's really just because Sam didn't compose anything and we wanted to use his icon.
I love how stylized these songs are. Plant island sounded like an introductory song, Cold sounded like a dark symphony of sorts,Air sounded like a love song, and Water is just reggae.
I do agree with the sense of humor contained within the first line of the description. To quote the wonderous paragraph stated near the end of said description, "the figure of speech, "bubbly," is a term that can be used to describe the tone of a particular piece. In this case, it refers to the tropical, joyful, and somewhat adventurous nature of Water Island: Recomposed (Based Version). However, the double entendre comes with the fact that the video editing, in more ways than one, features bubbles, spherical constructs typically made out of air when created underwater." This is amazing but the bass is genuinely so loud that it’s hard to hear a bit of parts and I’ve tried to listen with 3 different headphones and it’s the same😭 anyways great song
