Best technique is ignoring despite the tension, anxiety, and discomfort that the intrusive thought may trigger, this helps the subconscious rewire itself, and exposing oneself to the thought frequently without interacting with it proves so challenging but it is the best approach to come out of the pithole way better and mentally overzealous, so sad OCD is tough but it can be treated by self-awareness despite the mental ordeals
Thanks for your comment however I dont agree that is the best technique as how can a person ignore the tension and discomfort when it is a survival response in their body and can be terrifying for a person. Regulation of the nervous system is the key.
@healingforocdandanxiety Well, it's about accepting the delusion without trying to mentally or behaviorally interact or analyze it, I am a very peaceful person and once had a harm OCD out of nowhere, just an intrusive thought that popped up in the subconscious and mistakenly interacted with it which developed overtime, had it for a year until I have decided to overcome it by mocking it and never mentally quarrelling with it so as not to trigger the compulsive cycle of mental torment to alleviate tension and stress, it was difficult for the first weeks but I dragged that little tiny subconscious out of it with accepting that I am a serial killer (figuratively), resisted the compulsions and it retreated into the shadows, it is about patience and will, delusion is a delusion and reality is a reality full stop.
@@shoreeksheoratan7720 there is multiple options. I have a self study program starting from €100 per month and then a group support course for €400 per month. The best option is to go to my website and watch the free masterclass and then book a call. Hope that helps. www.healwithin.ie
