I'm sick to death of hearing the names Fury and Joshua these past few years, in my opinion neither of them have been that good, they were just the best of a really bad bunch of nothing more than journeymen heavyweights. So for me, if they're going to get in the ring, do it, then just please go away.
Why is it a must? They both swerved it for ages when it could have been huge, (Fury moreso). Now they are both coming off humbling's and it just comes across that they are just looking for a payday
Guy is deluded. He fought like a scared rabbit. 7 inch reach advantage, 6 inch taller, 50lbs heavier and fought on back foot. You were the challenger, you’ve got to EARN IT.
Yawn, yawn, yawn.....It would have been the biggest fight ever had they fought years ago when they were both undefeated. The rematch and potential trilogy would have been even bigger. They could have gone down has two of the greatest heavw's of all time but they no longer will. They'll end up fighting for misfits.
I was lucky to watch the fight on DAZN. The commentary with Adam Smith was on point. By the end of the fight, we knew that Usyk won it wide. While fanboys watching it on TNT and Sky were on a different planet, probably watching a different fight.
I think that's a good point. It's quite shocking just how old most of the top heavyweights are now. Dubois is the baby of the pack and he's almost 30. Boxing WILL have to change very quickly with a new generation. The last Fury v Usyk fight was definitely two fighters past their prime.
If the fight happened 3 years ago fury would have destroyed AJ by devastating KO. Furys legs are gone now. AJ wins by KO. But fight is no longer of interest.. they left it too long.
That is the problem with Fury's resume everything is could have, would have. Life and boxing doesn't work like that. You cannot say he would have destroyed Aj easily then. It is all guesses.
@badgasaurus4211 yeah but we need to see it to believe it. In a decades time when resumes are compared we cannot say Fury never needed to fight Joshua because Fury was too sleek for him. It needs to have happened. Lennox Lewis beat a past his prime Tyson but he did beat him.
What they should have done prior to the wilder court case is got together and offered wilder some step aside money plus first crack at the undisputed champion and see if he would have gone for it , look I’ve always fancied fury over aj but people need to remember they offered fury the fight after his first wilder fight offered him 60/40 he turned it down that is on fury not joshua
3 years ago he was getting knocked down twice in one round by wilder. A guy with poor technique and no skill when it comes to setting up his shots. Behave yourself.
I can’t thank Tuki Alalshikh enough for breathing life and revolutionizing the sport of boxing for which I love so much, however there is a problem developing with making all the fights that the fans want to see that at some point there is not going to be the same kind of demand for fights. This is not a whinge, honestly I’m truly grateful, there’s been some epic nights of action over the last year or two, it’s just how we carry this on without losing steam. The heavyweight division now has been settled. But what now? The way I see it is that we perhaps need a ‘Best Of The Rest’ shoot out. We already have the Dubois/ Parker match up in Feb, with both coming into this fight with good form. I’d like to see an AJ/ Fury match up for May, at Wembley, with the winner of this fighting the winner of Dubois/ Parker towards the end of the year. No rematch clauses, just a straight shoot out. Uysk, if he decides to stay in the sport, should, in my opinion fight Kabayel, as I feel he deserves his shot sometime in the middle of the year setting up a potential undisputed fight (with the winner of what’s described above) in early 2026. Granted there isn’t anywhere the near the hoo-ha regarding Kabayal but it’s a meaningful fight and we’d all tune in just to watch the master at work. This would keep the fans engaged throughout 2025 while the likes of Mosses Itauma establishes himself, along with establishing and building the profiles of the likes of Jared Andreson, Richard Torrez Jr and Justis Huni to a wider audience, with maybe a step up to heavyweight for Jai Opetaia also. There’s still big money fights left for the losers mentioned above adding guys like Bakole, Zhang, Whyte and Okolie in to the mix on the undercards but I feel it’s all about building foundations now for the next generation that keeps us fans excited and wanting more! I’m so grateful that I really wouldn’t want this to be a flash in the pan, fans loose interest, Saudi’s move on and be left with promoters and TV companies refusing to work with each other and fights not getting made again like we’ve had. I really want this continue and the sport to thrive! And when the Heavyweight division is thriving boxings thriving.
He’s just been in a fight and your talking about another one let Tyson enjoy time with his family now . I really wouldn’t mind if he retires hes give us a lot of entertainment over the years and should retire and enjoy the rest of his life . The fury and aj fight honestly does nothing for me anymore
Funny how there was no controversy last time when it was a split decision, but anyone with a pair of eyes could see that Fury won three rounds out of twelve?
Make big fights while they’re big fights and not past it like this one, this could’ve been the biggest fight in boxing history, its pointless now, same goes for Benn vs Eubank if its not made right now
Fury v AJ - The battle to decide 2 & 3 of this era. We want it! But Fury can argue at this point he is number 2 of the era! Because he was Lineal Champion he lifted the Ring magazine and WBC titles which AJ never lifted. On the other hand AJ may claim to have lifted the Olympic Gold which Fury never won. We need this decider for 2 & 3.
Fury was hardly landing any punches. Most were hitting gloves or missing. Usyk was landing more punches and more clinical punches. He outworked Fury. He was the only winner. The best Fury could have hoped for was a generous draw
I’m not that interested in seeing T. Fury v A J. If they do finally fight each other then I’ll watch it but as I’ve said I’m not that interested in seeing the fight. It’s the way that I felt about Amir Khan v Kell Brook. This is the same scenario as that one.
Fury vs Joshua will happen because neither of them have a belt to loose, only another mark on their record. Both are past their best, both would only take the fight on it for greed not because they need the money.

British bragging rights is all that's on the line here; The best Fury can hope for is to cement his place as the second best heavyweight of his generation, for Joshua, probably not even that. Fury wound be competitive in other eras, but not as dominant as he has been in his own. In other eras AJ would have been exposed early in his career. Fury v bakole be better fight
Fury vs Joshua, Wilder vs Joshua. These are the next fights we want to see!
The public wanted that fight when they were both in their prime and undefeated. Not when they are at the end if the careers, coming off losses, and because they dont really have any other choice..
I would rather watch Fury vs Dubaui
Fury doesn't deserve a title shot he's lost his last three fights 😂😂
You were the challenger, you’ve got to EARN IT.
people forget he the challenger
Yawn, yawn, yawn.....It would have been the biggest fight ever had they fought years ago when they were both undefeated. The rematch and potential trilogy would have been even bigger.
They could have gone down has two of the greatest heavw's of all time but they no longer will. They'll end up fighting for misfits.
I was lucky to watch the fight on DAZN.
The commentary with Adam Smith was on point.
By the end of the fight, we knew that Usyk won it wide.
While fanboys watching it on TNT and Sky were on a different planet, probably watching a different fight.
Boxing has moved on. Even Usyk is past his “best before date” and Fury/AJ are both past their “sell by dates”.
I think that's a good point. It's quite shocking just how old most of the top heavyweights are now. Dubois is the baby of the pack and he's almost 30. Boxing WILL have to change very quickly with a new generation. The last Fury v Usyk fight was definitely two fighters past their prime.
Fun fact fury isn't the greatest of his generation 😂😂
If the fight happened 3 years ago fury would have destroyed AJ by devastating KO. Furys legs are gone now. AJ wins by KO. But fight is no longer of interest.. they left it too long.
That is the problem with Fury's resume everything is could have, would have. Life and boxing doesn't work like that. You cannot say he would have destroyed Aj easily then. It is all guesses.
Fury still beats AJ on points - AJ isn’t good enough to get through anymore, the spite is gone. Only advantage he has over Fury is power
I would desperately like to see the fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury
Make big fights while they’re big fights and not past it like this one, this could’ve been the biggest fight in boxing history, its pointless now, same goes for Benn vs Eubank if its not made right now
Yeah, who cares! Meaningless!
Look at the comments lads. Nobody cares. But the British media been told to push this nonsense 😂
Literally no interest in this whatsoever and even more so now fury’s lost twice
A must for who? Fury and Aj have enough money 💰 it's just pure greed !
Cant see Tyson losing to AJ if he fights like he did vs Usyk and it is a fight thatll happen for the money.
Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua will always be a great fight, the battle of Britain.
I don't think Fury will be interested in fighting for second place but we'll see
May aswell, 2 washed up losers fighting for the best of the dossers 😂😂

Fury vs Joshua will happen because neither of them have a belt to loose, only another mark on their record. Both are past their best, both would only take the fight on it for greed not because they need the money.
Several years ago now, it was the fight everyone wanted. It really doesn't matter now which of them prevails as neither of them are in contention for anything at all. It'll be a big pay day for them and a bigger yawn for the rest of us. It's the current state of World boxing really. The fights that everyone wants to see will be evaded untill it no longer matters. Its sad.
It makes the most sense. They both still have the abilty. It's not like they are both way past their primes. This wouldn't be like Mayweather/Pacquaio, where only mayweather was still good enough. It will fill Wembley.
Anthony Joshua is nowhere near Tyson Fury. Joshua is a chicken
Joshua wasn't the one setting stupidly short deadlines when they were going to fight before...
Fury gave him a week to sign a 1 sided contract then ran away.
@@monkey39128 Joshua signed to fight the 0-1 MMA guy less than a week after his previous fight. When he actually wants a fight, it gets done. That's why he stalled Dubois 2 and invented some fake injuries.
Really I don’t want this fight, absolutely meaningless with two past it fighters, 3 years to late. Just a payday
It is not a MUST Mr Adam.
Tyson is old overnight and has to retire. Simple as that. Why fight Joshua and get flattened just because you're past your best. Hang up the gloves my brother. You're still one of the GREATS.
Not bothered about Fury V Joshua anymore.
Look how long it took fury to get in with usyk, so no chance of him getting in ring with Joshua , it’s been tried several times and fury as escaped
Well said mate give him the time 🇦🇺👏👍
It’s that horrible the way that fury and his team and any other biast people are even giving fury a shout in either fight it almost makes me wish the fights didn’t happen
Just be a man Tyson and admit the better man beat you on both occasions
Fury is clearly concussed again. It wasn't even close.
No it isn't... 2 losers... Nothing on the line what so ever!
Adam is spot on with everything he said. Uysk is beatable but it won't be AJ OR FURY. Let them two get it on and lets see who is the best of Britain! Dubois on paper clearly right now, hes the champion but fury and AJ have been the best for the best part of 10 years guys.
Wonder if TS will still be pushing the narrative that Fury is still one of the top HWs of all time? 🤔🙄
Usyk vs Bakolie
Fury vs AJ
Fabio wardley vs Jared Anderson
Okolie vs whyte
Moses Itauma vs Charles Martin
David Adeleye vs Johnny fisher
Dave Allen vs Sol dacres
Ezra Taylor Vs Lapin
Ben Whittaker vs Cameron 2
Usyk is the greatest boxer of this generation !
The score cards where abit wide but to beat a champion you just have to do more than Tyson did
Fun fact there is a man born from his mother that has beaten Tyson fury twice…
The fight should be called Battle of the bums of Britain.
I say that's a good fight for both fury and joshua even with no titles on the line it's gonna bring in 💰 and the winner continues his career one calls it a day How is that not good match up 🤔 💯
Actually Adam, it's a must not. Both of them have been dusted twice by the Real Champion. The only way this fight would have happened is if the Saudis had of got involved earlier and made it. Why should people be made to pay good money to observe a non event that coincides with giving the pair of them more millions🤷♂️
Why they keep saying unified CW champion....he was undisputed at CW and HW
Why does anybody want to see two vastly overated heavyweights of this era fight especially now when theyre both finished ?
under boxing rules today Usyk would probably beat everyone on the planet incredible. Do not diss Fury one of the greats who has also done a lot
Oscar de la hoya didn't think tyson win in the end,for this guy fight was not even a draw but tyson win the fight, man just stop it🤦
Fury will knock A J out in the third round unless he chooses to let the fight go on longer. Fury is the better boxer & will prove to be too good, that’s what I’ve believed for a long time. Fury will beat A J easily.
Its the only fight that makes sense for the 2 of them.
Where is Simon Jordan? Is he okay ?
British bragging rights is all that's on the line here; The best Fury can hope for is to cement his place as the second best heavyweight of his generation, for Joshua, probably not even that. Fury wound be competitive in other eras, but not as dominant as he has been in his own. In other eras AJ would have been exposed early in his career. As for Usyk, he's a class act in and out of the ring, I wish he was British and I'm envious of the Ukraine 🇺🇦
Apart from putting money in the already full pockets of very rich men, their is no point in this.
Yes, the media love it, all that extra ad revenue and sponsorship money, Matchroom, DAZN, Queensbury etc will love it as they get millions but surely the public aren't so stupid to be involved in this? Ok I take the last bit back
