This was so comfy and interesting!! I also recommended Before the Coffee Gets Cold to another book lover who will absolutely enjoy it. I am currently in the middle of The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma by Bessel van der Kolk M.D, and I have Guns, Germs, and Steel by Jared Diamond up next. 📚📚📖📖
@@belvedereasmr I actually became sidetracked by another book that I randomly picked up at a coffee shop. In the House in the Dark of the Woods Book by Laird Hunt. Really good so far! Hope you are doing well, take care!!
Those all sound pretty good! I’ll have to check them out. I don’t remember if I recommended it in your last video, but a short, lighthearted book for you that I would recommend is called the Red House Mystery by AA Milne. Yes, it’s by the same author who wrote Winnie the Pooh, but I believe this was actually the very first book that he wrote and it’s completely different than Winnie the Pooh. I really enjoyed it!
Thanks for recommendations, mate! I’ll definitely check out the books you’ve read. I’d recommend “Midnight Library” by Matt Haig. It’s a fantasy novel, which you might enjoy reading.
great video as always 🥰 even though i've been hearing of the before the coffee gets cold books for months now i still haven't had the courage to pick them up bc everyone keeps on saying how much they make you cry haha for a more light-hearted read the colour of magic by terry pratchett comes to mind, i've just started reading it and it's really funny, definitely a good change of pace from heavier books imho
Hey!! I've been following your channel and watching your videos for some time now!! I think you are a natural and have a very unique a curated content, interesting and relaxing, thank you so much :))) I think you would really enjoy audiobooks, if you are not into them yet! I listened to Strange & Norrell from Susanna Clarke, the author of Piranesi which you comment on one of your previous videos, and I think is a great format for getting through all those pages (a LOT). Maybe you would enjoy it too! Take care and thanks again for the wholesome videos!
Wow thank you so much for your amazing and kind comment! Yess audiobooks is something I need to get into for sure, and that book sounds great to listen to on my commute! I need to steal my dad’s audible details haha
