    Great stuff
    All the best beaches in Lombok are in the south. I actually been to most of those beaches with a help of a driver who took me around while I was staying at Sengiggi Beach area

    have been to Bali a few times but never to Lombok . Next visit should be there, looks so peaceful, Bali more hussle-bussle. Great vid as usual!

    • @TravelwithSimon
      @TravelwithSimon  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You should definitely try to visit Lombok just to see the difference! Have you also been to any of the Gili Islands which are between Bali and Lombok? The main Gili Island is Gili Trawangan (Gili T for short) and I find that these islands are a lot more peaceful than Bali. Also Nusa Penida, have you been there? Nusa Peninda is also easily reachable from Bali, although it can get quite busy with day visitors.

    Tolong buang sampah pada tempatnya.Jagalah lingkungan untuk kita semua biar kelihatan indah dan bersih.Please don’t throw rubbish on the beach or in the land,thank you! Greetings from Hawaii USA,Aloha.....

    • @TravelwithSimon
      @TravelwithSimon  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well said! Unfortunately the rubbish is quite a big problem in and around Lombok. Maybe I am wrong but there seems to be no system for rubbish collection that I can see so much of it ends up on the beach.

      @@TravelwithSimon of course, lombok is one of the most famous tourism destination in Indonesia, the food is also good, i'm living in Bogor which means sundanese region that the food mostly tastes Salty and Savory, wanna experience different taste of foods.

    • @TravelwithSimon

      Trying different food, especially the specialities of a region is one of the great things about travelling. Don't forget to let me know when you do get to visit Lombok to let me know if it lives up to your expectations!

    10 minutes of saying no thanks WTF ! Yes we understand people need to make a living. A polite 30 seconds, would you like a pineapple ?would be fine BUT 10 minutes is out right intimidation. Hope he falls of that over-sized scooter. And learns how to treat foreigners, that bring a lot of cash into these places. It needs to stop. Or we will stop going.

    • @TravelwithSimon
      @TravelwithSimon  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it can be very off putting in some places when people are so persistent and I don't really know what can be done about it, people need to make a living and they find that wearing people down often works. It seems tough to completely prohibit locals from accessing their own places but I do agree these activities will drive tourism away.
