@@rayquaza1245 The players are responsible for executing the game plan that the coach drafts up. Once the coach sees that his YOUNG team is lost out there, then yes, call a timeout to make adjustments. This is why you have timeouts…change what is NOT working for the team. Silly just silly

KAT needs to step up. In my opinion, the Timberwolves were tired that game. You can see it in the 4th quarter. They put it everything they had early in the game with the big lead. No timeouts called on a 21-0 run, which means more energy drained. Once 4th quarter hit, there was Bad glass cleaning (too many second chances), no screen and rolls, inconsistency on perimeter shots. That’s just from what I saw.
KAT is riding that 3 pt title wave and things he is Shaq with a jump shot.
Pat bev things he can pest his way to a championship.
Edwards is the guy who cares and trying the best.

Bruh pat Beverly is the reason they got off to a great start. I'm a grizzlies fan lol. Kat just soft as he'll. And the team was dumb by not taking advantage being up +20 by having Kat go inside and pound the ball. That mane sawft as he'll. They kept shooting jumpers. Meanwhile the grizz kept attacking the paint and making timely jumpers here and there. Once they were within 16 they 3 ball started falling. It was a wrap for them. Coach not calling a timeout to stifle the run was also the backbreaker.

Honestly I’m a long long long time fan of the timberwolves- every team makes a run- they had a chance to make some noise at home- up by 25 going into the final quarter I turned off the tv- you could see their defeat and the lack of confidence- the here we go again playoff losing mentality- that is coaching

Perk, youre wrong on ANT being the face/franchise (this season) of the Wolves. Even though he has a better potential to be greater than Kat, even though he plays better than Kat, let's not remove the *responsibility* off of Towns. Ant is just on his 2nd year, Kat on the other hand is paid so much and on his 5th or 6th season. This situation is not the same with rookie Mitchel were there is no prominent older star on the Jazz that he became their star right away.
Kat has never led a team though... it took a 2nd year ant dropping 22ppg plus carrying in important moments to win games. That's the guy now. You don't become the guy cause u win regular season games. You become the guy when it matters most

Listen man. I thought the Twolves had 0 shot, and they hella young so they’ll be back. KAT will hopefully take this to heart and work to get better, with what he’s gone through in his life we want him to succeed. But they lost 2 25 point leads. That’s unacceptable. You gotta get up that big and crush the Grizzlies throat and make sure they can’t come back.
KAT is a 7 year veteran there is no way you can defend him. He cries every time he commits dumb fouls gets no rebounds and takes no shots against smaller opponents it is embarrassing

I think it was both Memphis was hot and had great defense. But the Wolves in the 4th could not hit wide open shots and the Grizzlies could not be stopped.

This is all about the collapse. Memphis didn’t play good. Memphis shot 42% from the field. This was all about Timberswolves blowing 2 20 point leads and KAT choking. Memphis didn’t get back in this game by playing hard and dominating. They played just good while the Timberwolves just blew it as always.
They did dominate in the 4th took great shots and they were on a roll and Timberwolves defense this not step up. So it's both.

@@thisistheway3812 Timberwolves defense is horrible. They were the 24th rated defense this year and the Grizzlies were the number 1 scoring offense. You are expected to do this. And the fact that you couldn't get it going until the 4th was disappointing with KAT not playing with foul trouble. But one thing good about Minnesota is the offense ranked number 2 and the fact that they couldn't keep a 20 point lead when their offense was rolling before and their offense got shutdown in the fourth was more of a meltdown by the Timberwolves than Memphis hustling.
How do you let a team get a 21-0 run or whatever and not call a timeout makes no sense

KAT is kind of like Boogie Cousins before he had gotten hurt. Puts up numbers, big body, plays big.... but never translates into W's. Wolves aren't going anywhere. Wolves if they're smart should get a new/experienced coach/trade KAT + Russell and get great pieces in return that would be great for Edwards. You will not do anything with KAT, Russell, and Edwards do it sooner rather then later.
