2:10 What is your problem with the plastic-sounding lenses? Polycarbonate is better than glass for several reasons: Lighter weight, and when it breaks it does not explode into your eyes in 1000 pieces like glass. That is why it is used in biker or work-safety goggles.
@1:17 - It's not Quality control. It's the M.O.C. (Material of Construction). China uses low-quality materials and hence the price difference. They introduced the concept of 'Use and throw". Still can't believe Rayban approved this design. Just looking at them hurts my eyes. 😄
NO WAY!!! I literally almost got these. Saw them on JS and was intrigued because they're offered in Asia but not so much here, really liked the shape. But I kept backing out because I thought they looked cheaper than the norm. I had no idea what you were gonna pull out and actually said "no way" out loud, I'm glad I happened upon this so I can swerve these. I probably would have hunted for them again. :/
About half of my sunglasses are none polarized polarization helps remove glare. So if you are near water a lot or have lots of snow around you definitely want them . But for 80% of uses you don’t need polarized lenses in fact polarized lenses are worse for things like some phone screens gas pump screens etc.
While I agree with you in some points, i have RB in my collection that have nylon frames and PC lenses and don't have all metal hinges and I enjoy very much. Like my RB4264, which are actually made in Italy. I guess it depends on what you're looking for. Only 2 of my RB are made in China. One is the RB8313. They do have carbon temples and P3 Plus lenses though. The others are RB3699.and they feature acetate temples, all metal hinges and even Crysral Chromance lenses. So, I guess it depends on models as well?
These look like comedy joke glasses, or like they were based on Steve’s in American Dad. Maybe an intern won a design opportunity or something. Very good and fun review though. Maybe these could be the ‘how you would let people know you’d been kidnapped’ kind of signal 😂
Bro you should do a top 5 ray bans to avoid for people on a budget like me lol like one a year, and then a top 5 oakleys to avoid, etc. etc. im sure theres a demand for it
Didn’t you review this same style ~ a year ago? They were in tortoise shell, and had the metal rod through the arms. I thought you said in that review that you really liked them-what happened?
That is a lie, the New wayfares are the worst Ray-Ban's ever. Cheap plastic and a revised ultra mainstream design that carry's almost none of the wayfares styling and design language.
Mine have crystal lenses and the frame looks good quality, metal hinges and an overall good look for an affordable price. You sure you didn’t buy over at a flea market?
Sorry but let me tell you, seems like you buy a fake rayban: i have a lot pair of rayban, and NEVER, NEVER IN THE BOXES SAY MADE IN CHINA NOPE,.SOMEONE CHEAT ON YOU.
What's the model number

You bring up very valid points. My understanding is that glass is more scratch resistant than polycarbonate, additional coatings aside.
I've had the Chinese-made Thalia model for almost 6 months now and it's excellent.
What model number is it?

rb4260d 601/9a the same as the one you reviewed here?

Thanks for sharing that Vijeesh!
@@ShadeReview You are welcome brother. Great video as always.
They’re bad, but you’ve liked several styles that come with the sticker. Now suddenly the stickers are bad.

Is Polarization really important for sunglasses? I like Folding Clubmaster but it doesn't have Polarized lens

Damn you clowning on everyone who owns these lmao
Nothing wrong with build quality, only the design. If that were Justin, that would look way better
Are those State Street?
No I mention the model number in the video
What on earth is that?! I cannot stop laughing at how horrible that pair is 😂
Hahhahhaa
total clown version of RB Wayfarers made by robots 😆 😂
Yep! hahahah I can't believe they actually made these!
Most chromance are plastic lenses too. But much better I assume.
They look unbreakable 😂

I have these RB. For asian face&big head looks good, but lenses quality (2018) is not very good.
I’m pretty just sure that those are the wrong shape for your face doesn’t make them look bad just look bad on your shape of face
They look so uncomfortable on the nose
Didn’t you review this same style ~ a year ago? They were in tortoise shell, and had the metal rod through the arms. I thought you said in that review that you really liked them-what happened?
Nope never reviewed this pair until this video
These also don’t have a metal rod through the middle
You said they do?
When you said it’s made in China by robots that means kids
The clubrounds have been made in china and those are actually pretty good to me!
