Bears with Bill Belicheck will make a playoff run. Mac Jones was a bust and cost the dude his job. If Caleb is even remotely as good as advertised and Bill can build up that defense to the level the Pats were always on, they can have some real success. Finding the right OC will be incredibly important but I'd go with the defensive guru and look for the right OC rather than trying to find the perfect offensive coach. Any OC good enough for the HC job would serve the Bears better as an OC behind Bill for whatever years he has left and taking over after that.

A new coach doesn't have to come in for a new QB but if a team wants to win instantly the coach and QB should gel together

@BoomorBust Eberflus is a defensive minded coach. The bears GM went all in on upgrading the offense for Caleb. Since they didn't get a new OC with creativity it would make sense to get a more offensive minded HC. Hope that clarified the point.

You know what's crazy is if we were going off stats and not records Joe Burrow would be the MVP favorite. He is 1st in passing yards, passing touchdowns and 3rd in QBR. Could be a Toss up between him and Lamar because he is also having a crazy season. 2nd in passing yard, passing touchdowns and 4th in QBR. Comparing that to Josh Allen who is 14th in passing yards and 6th in passing touchdowns while being 2nd in QBR. Could also give it to Saquon as well but for QB's Joe Burrow and Lamar have considerably better stats
Lamar last year put up 2011 tony romo numbers and won. Stats didn't mean anything last year.

Thanks for Dominique for having some foresight. Guy is coming off a full ruptured Achilles. Next year he will be better (not saying will win Super Bowl). Jets are historically terrible for 50 years. It’s a franchise thing NOT a Rodgers thing. As “bad” as he has played got kickers costing them 2-3 wins. Shoot, this last game his receivers dropped multiple WIDE OPEN passes, players fumbling at the worst times. Yes he had a pick 6 (by the way no skill players can catch up to. 300lb guy?) but Goff had 5 picks in one game AND THEY WON. Even if Rodgers stays in the same stadium and plays for Giants next year they will be 9-8 or better and he will end his career on a solid season.

A good QB possesses leadership qualities. Rodgers is toxic as a leader. He’s solo dolo out there. He sees himself above others which is why he places blame on everyone else.
