The realist problem on the server is Air 1, the helicopter ruins 99% of all criminal strats / plans. Nothing works besides tunnels, which the cops know that and just put spikes down at all the entrances. I honestly think if they removed Air 1, left CPDs and Interceptors the server would go back to being fun. But Air 1 literally ruins everything on the entire server, ALL THE TIME. Races are just a secondary issue that the server has been brutal on Criminals since CPDs got buffed to deal with S Class cars. Races can be fixed easily by simple adjustments to stalls down to 4 seconds, make class specific races, and tune down a few of the cars for more balance. The problem is Summit has also min/maxed racing in the past with the Kanjo and rushing the Drafter buy which lead to him winning A LOT. He's losing now and he's frustrated, but minor things could fix No Pixel. But the most important delete is Air 1 so that Criminals can go back to running STRATS rather than being forced into tunnels to always lose.
They can add a class recognition system with your dongle or app and class lock each group. They could also increase payouts for class locked races and less for open. There are ways around this issue.

Lol i remember when they changed the car stalls. It was only like 3 seconds or so. Then a few cop players complained about it, because it wasnt enough time for them to jump out and tase a driver. And now we at a 6 second stall.
It was only a matter of time before these guys started blowing their top at how unbalanced and how unfair things are on the server right now , zero consistency all over the place , but whenever someone speaks out against it , they are just hit with a ban , which just makes it worse and makes them even more frustrated at what's going on right now. I definitely see the problem specifically with the Open Race thing. There seems to be a bit of a strange attitude towards racing from NoPixel, I remember that not too long ago new people like Zerkaa were constantly running local-only races because it was an easy and relatively fair gateway into actual racing but then NoPixel devs clamped down on it really hard, citing it was too easily abusable for experienced and skilled racers. Yet, they allow an Open Racing meta where S class vehicles just run the scene and make easy money. It's not a problem that open races exist, it's a problem that such a form of racing is so dominant.
My opinion on NP right now is very simple. There are characters that are played by not good RPers and their are characters that are played by great RPers. The influx of new people tend to not know how to roleplay correctly and power game imo. If they are a cop they have class 2 always out instead of being reactionary with class 1s, racers trying to make a quick buck off of A and A+ cars after they grinded for 3 weeks for a S+. Just a bunch of people playing gta and not RPing. I think koil needs to step up and take accountability for his server and make his admins and devs try to level out the play field evenly. Cops and crims both need to stop OOC with their character extremely
No pixel is just a shadow of what made it so unique to get whitelisted back then. The admins (not naming names) won’t admit it but gta online style made it more popular with popular streamers instead of actual rp. Also as long as penta still around playing his cop and abusing his power, it shows koil doesn’t care as much anymore.

Yea sumsum has been stressed bad recently, I think he has even been feeling sick (maybe from the 15 hour streams). Had a visual migraine for the first time night before last that blocked vision in one eye, that had him tripped out pretty bad for 5 minutes and when it didnt stop he ended stream. A LOT more afk dipping off stream to talk to family (we assume), and has said family stuff going ona few times

Yeah i agree. You should pretty only be able to be banned in the server for things you say and do in the server. The only way in my opinion you should be able to get an outside the server ban is if someone is actively encouraging people to go and harass people on the server or for calling people slurs, but people arguing and get upset with each other or at the game should be ignored by the admin.. Even more so when its not like summit or anyone is saying this to the admin upset. He is venting to himself and chat and this is pretty much a whole thing that the admin shouldn't and wouldn't even hear if it wasn't for people clipping it and sending it to them...
I feel like everyone has forgotten that it’s an RP server. Everyone is all trying to power game everything. It’s insane. When you actually get some RP like the chase in the BMW the other day, it’s such a breath of fresh air but THATS HOW ITS ALWAYS SUPPOSED TO BE. No pixel is legit not fun to watch right now. When looking at how awesome it was when 3.0 launched its just so fucking sad.
the problem with rp in general not just nopixel is that everyone believes they are the main character of the world they are rp'ing in. so they will always powergame in some way there is a few people who know they aren't and legit play for fun, but all the new people joining don't know this
RP: You're supposed to live in the world. Be a citizen, good bad, neutral whatever, sell goods or do anything you want. Twitch RP: Lets powergame everything, min max as much as possible and be either criminal or cop. Also Nopixel: Cops are gods and KyleBitkin dont know how to RP: Shoot first ask questions later, ruin actual RP. And problem with Twitch RP is that the streamers hang only with other streamers which makes it really bland and old after a while.

I knew this was coming. Too much weird stuff going on. Never thought I would see the server like this but its obvious to me, especially after Koils rant about how he likes it the way it is, that they only want stupid RP scenarios where everyone standing around and talks. They want crime GONE from the city and will poop on those that helped him build it. The cime element and the action that follows is what makes this city so popular. As far as the locals go I was playing GTA 5 online normal and I noticed they were ALOT more aggressive with this new Tuner DLC patch. There has to be a way to tune that for devs. I know many different youtubers have done testing with car warehouse selling in regular online mode and they had limos staged along the path they were going to take to keep their car from getting hit and losing money. Locals were spawning out of nowhere and trying to ram the limo to get to the car they were selling. Summit is right though, I don't watch NoPixel RP anymore. It's gotten REALLY weird with cops powergaming too much and koil calling it "realistic" and its pretty obvious its not. So im guessing we will be seeing some Sea of Thieves and some Escape from Karkov.
Koil wants only business RP, hates action RP that involves robbing banks as it leads to conflict since he can't get his fuckin cops in control who will do anything to get that W. He shits on CG for that and sucks off Lang. That is really pathetic to see because everyone loves to watch their streamer rob banks. Yeah I loved nopixel for a few months after it came out (3.0). It was the first time I liked watching rp but it went to shit so quickly since they started nerfing crims… Today there are like 3 main characters and the rest of the server is just dead

But what about us who love the action+drama RP? Koils seems to hate us and openly criticizes the crims who do it. Definitely true about the money game for those s classes in open races. You are running a 400k or whatever car (no idea on prices) for a maybe 10k first place. If you crash you are losing most of that in repairs
I still think the biggest reason Summit got so tilted in this race, not only because of locals, but also because of the blue audi r8, not once but twice that car caught up to him with ease. Whilst everyone else was using nos and every ounce of ability they had. Whilst the r8 didn't even need to nos, but it still did. And it was pretty obviously they weren't a good driver, they were just relying on the car so much. Put Chawa, Eddie, Mary, or Goofy in that car and it's an easy W for all of them, even if they fuck up.
I do agree that he could just run his own underground race scene, but like he said he just wants to show up and participate. The most favor is shown to those who take initiative and make efforts to create RP scenarios for themselves and others. Summit is well-liked and well-known enough to get 1 or 2 people helping him set up races and such if he doesn't want to do it all himself. Edit: Very funny point he made about playing the wrong character at the wrong time haha. It was likely a lot of his own complaining, as well as other officers, that got Crims nerfed to Hell and threw heist plans out the window. Complaining loudly can be a double edged sword.

The local problem, realistically cannot be fixed. Because it's GTA 5 embedded code, and it's really hard to improve on it without getting rid of them altogether. My honest only thought for a solution, would be to at least remove a good chunk of local cars. Or just specifically on race tracks, for the time being, to not allow local cars to pass through them. Then to the stalls, it actually makes no sense. It should be a deteriorating effect, first major crash nothing, second major crash very slight stall (maybe 1 or 2 seconds), third major crash, car is now slightly slower with (1 or 2 second stall), forth crash car is considerable slower
If they did that crims would lose their minds because so many crimes use local cars and people already take hours to setup a single heist. It's really not a problem, people are making a mountain out of a molehill.

The stalls does make sense, before the stalls the cars broke. So the stalls is a solution to make it not break instantly. Sure it takes some time but its supposed to be punishing.

2 locals didn't do anything crazy, that's just not being careful with local AI. One was just going on a normal road and the other was turning at a turn
Yeah one local was Summits fault as it was simply travelling in its lane and he couldn’t see it over the incline. He’s basically relying on luck there going into opposite lanes of travel over a blind hill. Second was GTA shit where the car turns into you. Ultimately it cost him his first place but I think it was more the straw that broke the camels back. He said after that first boost went south he had a feeling it was going to be a bad day, he was right
What’s funny is GTA Online just added street races that are 10x better than the ones in NP. They actually have closed off streets with no NPCs, spray painted direction markers, and shortcuts. NP could really use that stuff.
lol most of the RP servers I've played, a crash like the first one where he complains about the stall, the car would be totaled and require a repair kit to work again
I think sums real problem is the non-RP driving pros taking over the race scene. If you aren't going to spend it's your time roleplaying don't play on an RP server.
There is kind of an easy fix for the racing scene, add the tuner chip back or have the dongle / race have the opinion to lower S Classes to A Class specs. You could even up D, C, and B to A Class or S Class if not lower S and A class to B, C, or D class so everyone could race on the same playing field. People who do not grind like hunting / fishing none stop for days / weeks or use illegal ways to make money do not have the money to buy A Classes or S Classes for months, and many people who have S Classes no longer have their A Classes or the money to buy another A Class. If you make it so you can have the race set everyone's cars to the same tier class more people can join in on races and you wont have to worry about not being able to compete or having to race a perfect race because someone else has a higher tier car. This is not a perfect fix but it allows people who want to drive their new fancy S classes around or only have an S Class race with A Classes without have a large advantage, it can even allow people to show up with an C or B Class that will get a tune boost and be able to hang with the A or S classes.. or drop the A and S down to B or C and take the risk of cops showing up.

NPC's aren't stupid in GTA V. They're literally programmed to spawn in places (like blind corners) and deliberately try to hit you, like making turns at the last second or turning right from the left lane etc.
Literally, i still play story mode on ps3, cause i cbf buying it again and don't play it much, locals have been like this since the start imo it's something no one should complain about cause it happens to everyone.
@Jaron i agree with you on two points. the race class and the stall times. Open class races, there should be two rewards. One for overall standing in the race and the other for CLASS standing. This allows those who drive S class and suck to potentially lose some money and the A+ good drivers to potentially gain more money while ensuring they get a payout for their class. Stalls should be in there but dependent on the impact (e.g.: flip, head on). AI in this game has always had issues but it seems to be getting worse on NP. I was watching Kyle, Mack, you and some others playing cop. Turn on the sirens and lights and they still hit you guys and get in the way. The AI issue will always be there im afraid.
People host open races so that more people could join the race, because some of them have only 1 class car. The more people there are, the more GNE you get and if you are a decent driver, you can keep up with S class car on corners. Most of the racers race for GNE, not $ winnings. Thats why they also do 1k races, it pays more GNE. Lets not forget that S class cars can get fucked over as well with locals, etc.
But people that own S classes can easily be able to obtain an A as well. And you can scratch A+ now. So S classes even being a part of races A+ and below makes 0 sense. S+ is a special class that needs to race against other S+ cars for high stakes. Very cut and dry how it should be.

Yeah, but for some reason they added open class races I guess for RP situations and now everyone is abusing it by tricking lower class racers into racing the higher class cars.
Cant really say this was locals/npc fault go watch both crashes both times he was in the opposite lane of travel. Now the whole S class cars in A class races is really dumb. Its like putting a few 250s in 125 motocross races or putting an 8 second car against a 10 second car on a dragstrips its just dumb.

Either way he lost the race because of them 2 crashes and ultimately I think he was more pissed he couldn’t reign in that S class R8 even when NOSin the shit outta his car and taking more risks on lines. He’s not wrong when he said you have to race out your mind against these superior cars where as S class drivers can ultimately rely on their car more. You saw it soon as he went behind started taking more risks to catch up. But yeah I agree not all locals were to blame there but enough to push him over the edge
Locals are an issue of default GTAO traffic logic where they purposefully ram you at high speeds, plus having to sync traffic in a big lobby is a netcode issue. They have to either completely rewrite the traffic in the game or take them out completely.

Ever thought about just hosting your own races wihtout S-class cars? and about the stall system and locals, you should have enough influence to speak to the devs that sit and control these things and let them know how you think it should be and see if you and them can find a happy medium.
People are wrong about locals, that car that hit Summit was driving and already had preprogrammed route to take. The only reason it looks stupid to is is because if we saw a car comming in our direction we would avoid it. But the npc in GTA has their path programmed and will turn regardless if you're driving towards them or not. You need to think " is there a way that this car could make a turn right now?"

Instead of complaining there's only open races, instead put in the effort and start some A+ races etc, not hard I'm a fan but sum is complaining about something he can fix, there's open because they all have S class, sum took a break so he is behind on classes, not everyone else's fault.

The Drafter is a better car it's just harder to be good at than the massacro. The one good thing the massacro has is the double clutch nos boost which lets it compete as one of the best A classes. But if someone could manage to double clutch nos the drafter everytime it would blow every other car away because it's better in literally every other aspect than every A class. But one car being strong is what it is, the real problem I agree with summit are the fucking S classes coming into regular races. It's like you show up in an A+ expecting to be able to compete for 1st place if you're good enough but oh wait, there's an rx7, r8, and a fucking Bentley. Like you're basically competing for 3rd-5th unless you smurf the race AND get lucky with no locals.

Crims (which is a major part of GTA RP) are getting nothing but shit, one of their 4 man goes down, cops instantly bring out class 2's to hold them in the position for an hour. Drive by's, element of suprise? nope. You have the whole PD surrounding the area. With AR's that are basically snipers. Chawa crashes whilst being chased, gives up completely, wasn't on the phone, doesn't have a "radio", cops instantly bring out class 2's because they saw 2 people on a bike with helmets on. Nevermind the fact that they were down from the street from alta apartments. Hey but I mean he's apart of CG so of course they're gonna be a little more on edge right? Nope Dan even says it's not because you're apart of CG. He's on edge because he got gunned down earlier in the day. I disagrees with Summit here. I speculate that he had a bad day or a week... The summit i knew talked about how skill is more involved with hard stalls and few crashes to disable their cars. Yes ai can be blind in the game and Summit got unlucky and maybe at times too reckless.

Its been shit for summi lately in NP wants to race but there is open race so that S class can get ez dub, do boosting C class the whole PD chase him with 2 intercepter couple of cvpi and air 1, do bossting A+ Ripley fucks up with the spike, Angel spraying AR from behind in a bike while had a 2 cop hostage and the list goes on.
Everything he said is spot on except the last thing. I still dont understand the hate for controllers on the server. What, because its RP you should intentionally handicap yourself by using an input that youre uncomfortable with? IMO, the more natural your controller feels, the easier you going to be able to forget its even there, and focus on what you should be actually thinking/doing in the moment. If you have to fight with your controls, how is that any different from fighting with awkward game mechanics? It takes away from the immersion, and that should be the last thing you want with RP.
Sometimes the streamers have a "!playlist" command (or something similar) that gives you a playlist with the songs that they may use, but If not, you can always search for streamers playlists yourself (and usually you find a couple that are pretty well done xD)

The racing scene has just become to repetitive and racers have been focusing for 6 months trying to gather GNE for s class cars. This means that most good racers are sitting on 2 to 3 mil in GNE without being able to do anything with it as they want to buy multiple cars when the tuner shop comes out. This has also started a wave of racers trying to exploit everything in racing to try and gain an advantage.
Quick question: Why isn't there a "Racing Crime Syndicate" that controls the races on the streets and manages races based on classes? And why isn't there a Legal Racing Scene? I mean, even Need For Speed makes street races based around "car level". They could easily make races based on reputation, so that better racers could race against people from the same rep and similar car performance. Meanwhile newcomers with normal cars could race for less money and GNE without having this type of shit. Specially with tuning and S+ arriving soon. Remember NFS MW and the "Blacklist"? Racing for pinkslips, things like that. A Syndicate created by street racers to control racing in the city.
You mean the puppet master, people stopped listening to them so they gave up, Hutch got sick of the drama it seems and the lesser known people like Lucas got shadowbanned by the other racers at one point for trying to enforce the rules. The realist problem on the server is Air 1, the helicopter ruins 99% of all criminal strats / plans. Nothing works besides tunnels, which the cops know that and just put spikes down at all the entrances. I honestly think if they removed Air 1, left CPDs and Interceptors the server would go back to being fun. But Air 1 literally ruins everything on the entire server, ALL THE TIME.
Races are just a secondary issue that the server has been brutal on Criminals since CPDs got buffed to deal with S Class cars. Races can be fixed easily by simple adjustments to stalls down to 4 seconds, make class specific races, and tune down a few of the cars for more balance. The problem is Summit has also min/maxed racing in the past with the Kanjo and rushing the Drafter buy which lead to him winning A LOT. He's losing now and he's frustrated, but minor things could fix No Pixel. But the most important delete is Air 1 so that Criminals can go back to running STRATS rather than being forced into tunnels to always lose.
They can add a class recognition system with your dongle or app and class lock each group. They could also increase payouts for class locked races and less for open. There are ways around this issue.
First off, people need to learn how tf to drive.

Lol i remember when they changed the car stalls. It was only like 3 seconds or so. Then a few cop players complained about it, because it wasnt enough time for them to jump out and tase a driver. And now we at a 6 second stall.
It was only a matter of time before these guys started blowing their top at how unbalanced and how unfair things are on the server right now , zero consistency all over the place , but whenever someone speaks out against it , they are just hit with a ban , which just makes it worse and makes them even more frustrated at what's going on right now. I definitely see the problem specifically with the Open Race thing. There seems to be a bit of a strange attitude towards racing from NoPixel, I remember that not too long ago new people like Zerkaa were constantly running local-only races because it was an easy and relatively fair gateway into actual racing but then NoPixel devs clamped down on it really hard, citing it was too easily abusable for experienced and skilled racers. Yet, they allow an Open Racing meta where S class vehicles just run the scene and make easy money. It's not a problem that open races exist, it's a problem that such a form of racing is so dominant.
My opinion on NP right now is very simple. There are characters that are played by not good RPers and their are characters that are played by great RPers. The influx of new people tend to not know how to roleplay correctly and power game imo. If they are a cop they have class 2 always out instead of being reactionary with class 1s, racers trying to make a quick buck off of A and A+ cars after they grinded for 3 weeks for a S+. Just a bunch of people playing gta and not RPing. I think koil needs to step up and take accountability for his server and make his admins and devs try to level out the play field evenly. Cops and crims both need to stop OOC with their character extremely
No pixel is just a shadow of what made it so unique to get whitelisted back then. The admins (not naming names) won’t admit it but gta online style made it more popular with popular streamers instead of actual rp. Also as long as penta still around playing his cop and abusing his power, it shows koil doesn’t care as much anymore.

At the same time tho they are playing RP and not Gta online they add the online mechanics for them to be used as tools for rp. They make content great and rp too. Yea sumsum has been stressed bad recently, I think he has even been feeling sick (maybe from the 15 hour streams). Had a visual migraine for the first time night before last that blocked vision in one eye, that had him tripped out pretty bad for 5 minutes and when it didnt stop he ended stream. A LOT more afk dipping off stream to talk to family (we assume), and has said family stuff going ona few times

Yeah i agree. You should pretty only be able to be banned in the server for things you say and do in the server. The only way in my opinion you should be able to get an outside the server ban is if someone is actively encouraging people to go and harass people on the server or for calling people slurs, but people arguing and get upset with each other or at the game should be ignored by the admin.. Even more so when its not like summit or anyone is saying this to the admin upset. He is venting to himself and chat and this is pretty much a whole thing that the admin shouldn't and wouldn't even hear if it wasn't for people clipping it and sending it to them...
I feel like everyone has forgotten that it’s an RP server. Everyone is all trying to power game everything. It’s insane. When you actually get some RP like the chase in the BMW the other day, it’s such a breath of fresh air but THATS HOW ITS ALWAYS SUPPOSED TO BE. No pixel is legit not fun to watch right now. When looking at how awesome it was when 3.0 launched its just so fucking sad.

the problem with rp in general not just nopixel is that everyone believes they are the main character of the world they are rp'ing in. so they will always powergame in some way

I knew this was coming. Too much weird stuff going on. Never thought I would see the server like this but its obvious to me, especially after Koils rant about how he likes it the way it is, that they only want stupid RP scenarios where everyone standing around and talks. They want crime GONE from the city and will poop on those that helped him build it. The cime element and the action that follows is what makes this city so popular. As far as the locals go I was playing GTA 5 online normal and I noticed they were ALOT more aggressive with this new Tuner DLC patch. There has to be a way to tune that for devs. I know many different youtubers have done testing with car warehouse selling in regular online mode and they had limos staged along the path they were going to take to keep their car from getting hit and losing money. Locals were spawning out of nowhere and trying to ram the limo to get to the car they were selling. Summit is right though, I don't watch NoPixel RP anymore. It's gotten REALLY weird with cops powergaming too much and koil calling it "realistic" and its pretty obvious its not. So im guessing we will be seeing some Sea of Thieves and some Escape from Karkov.
Koil wants only business RP, hates action RP that involves robbing banks as it leads to conflict since he can't get his fuckin cops in control who will do anything to get that W. He shits on CG for that and sucks off Lang. That is really pathetic to see because everyone loves to watch their streamer rob banks. Everyone gets their peak numbers on stream even doing so but RP Frogs on reddit say that its so boring and theres no RP, its just retarded.

Definitely true about the money game for those s classes in open races. You are running a 400k or whatever car (no idea on prices) for a maybe 10k first place. If you crash you are losing most of that in repairs

I still think the biggest reason Summit got so tilted in this race, not only because of locals, but also because of the blue audi r8, not once but twice that car caught up to him with ease. Whilst everyone else was using nos and every ounce of ability they had. Whilst the r8 didn't even need to nos, but it still did. And it was pretty obviously they weren't a good driver, they were just relying on the car so much. Put Chawa, Eddie, Mary, or Goofy in that car and it's an easy W for all of them, even if they fuck up.
Difference is Goofy wins that race in an a class anyway

I do agree that he could just run his own underground race scene, but like he said he just wants to show up and participate. The most favor is shown to those who take initiative and make efforts to create RP scenarios for themselves and others. Summit is well-liked and well-known enough to get 1 or 2 people helping him set up races and such if he doesn't want to do it all himself.
Edit: Very funny point he made about playing the wrong character at the wrong time haha. It was likely a lot of his own complaining, as well as other officers, that got Crims nerfed to Hell and threw heist plans out the window. Complaining loudly can be a double edged sword.

The local problem, realistically cannot be fixed. Because it's GTA 5 embedded code, and it's really hard to improve on it without getting rid of them altogether. My honest only thought for a solution, would be to at least remove a good chunk of local cars. Or just specifically on race tracks, for the time being, to not allow local cars to pass through them.
Then to the stalls, it actually makes no sense. It should be a deteriorating effect, first major crash nothing, second major crash very slight stall (maybe 1 or 2 seconds), third major crash, car is now slightly slower with (1 or 2 second stall), forth crash car is considerable slower
If they did that crims would lose their minds because so many crimes use local cars and people already take hours to setup a single heist. It's really not a problem, people are making a mountain out of a molehill.

The stalls does make sense, before the stalls the cars broke. So the stalls is a solution to make it not break instantly. Sure it takes some time but its supposed to be punishing.

2 locals didn't do anything crazy, that's just not being careful with local AI. One was just going on a normal road and the other was turning at a turn
Yeah one local was Summits fault as it was simply travelling in its lane and he couldn’t see it over the incline. He’s basically relying on luck there going into opposite lanes of travel over a blind hill. Second was GTA shit where the car turns into you. Ultimately it cost him his first place but I think it was more the straw that broke the camels back. He said after that first boost went south he had a feeling it was going to be a bad day, he was right

What’s funny is GTA Online just added street races that are 10x better than the ones in NP. They actually have closed off streets with no NPCs, spray painted direction markers, and shortcuts. NP could really use that stuff.

agreed NP server players are waaaaaaay to coddled and then get angry when people "fail RP" like most of the damn server is set up as failed RP.
I think sums real problem is the non-RP driving pros taking over the race scene. If you aren't going to spend it's your time roleplaying don't play on an RP server.
Gatekeeping RP, nice man
There is kind of an easy fix for the racing scene, add the tuner chip back or have the dongle / race have the opinion to lower S Classes to A Class specs. You could even up D, C, and B to A Class or S Class if not lower S and A class to B, C, or D class so everyone could race on the same playing field.
People who do not grind like hunting / fishing none stop for days / weeks or use illegal ways to make money do not have the money to buy A Classes or S Classes for months, and many people who have S Classes no longer have their A Classes or the money to buy another A Class. If you make it so you can have the race set everyone's cars to the same tier class more people can join in on races and you wont have to worry about not being able to compete or having to race a perfect race because someone else has a higher tier car.
This is not a perfect fix but it allows people who want to drive their new fancy S classes around or only have an S Class race with A Classes without have a large advantage, it can even allow people to show up with an C or B Class that will get a tune boost and be able to hang with the A or S classes.. or drop the A and S down to B or C and take the risk of cops showing up.

NPC's aren't stupid in GTA V. They're literally programmed to spawn in places (like blind corners) and deliberately try to hit you, like making turns at the last second or turning right from the left lane etc.
Literally, i still play story mode on ps3, cause i cbf buying it again and don't play it much, locals have been like this since the start imo it's something no one should complain about cause it happens to everyone.

@Jaron i agree with you on two points. the race class and the stall times. Open class races, there should be two rewards. One for overall standing in the race and the other for CLASS standing. This allows those who drive S class and suck to potentially lose some money and the A+ good drivers to potentially gain more money while ensuring they get a payout for their class. Stalls should be in there but dependent on the impact (e.g.: flip, head on). AI in this game has always had issues but it seems to be getting worse on NP. I was watching Kyle, Mack, you and some others playing cop. Turn on the sirens and lights and they still hit you guys and get in the way. The AI issue will always be there im afraid.
People host open races so that more people could join the race, because some of them have only 1 class car. The more people there are, the more GNE you get and if you are a decent driver, you can keep up with S class car on corners. Most of the racers race for GNE, not $ winnings. Thats why they also do 1k races, it pays more GNE. Lets not forget that S class cars can get fucked over as well with locals, etc.
But people that own S classes can easily be able to obtain an A as well. And you can scratch A+ now. So S classes even being a part of races A+ and below makes 0 sense. S+ is a special class that needs to race against other S+ cars for high stakes. Very cut and dry how it should be.

Cant really say this was locals/npc fault go watch both crashes both times he was in the opposite lane of travel. Now the whole S class cars in A class races is really dumb. Its like putting a few 250s in 125 motocross races or putting an 8 second car against a 10 second car on a dragstrips its just dumb.
Yeah not all locals were bad but that race against the blue R8 one was Summits fault one was locals being locals. Either way he lost the race because of them 2 crashes and ultimately I think he was more pissed he couldn’t reign in that S class R8 even when NOSin the shit outta his car and taking more risks on lines. He’s not wrong when he said you have to race out your mind against these superior cars where as S class drivers can ultimately rely on their car more. You saw it soon as he went behind started taking more risks to catch up. But yeah I agree not all locals were to blame there but enough to push him over the edge
Locals are an issue of default GTAO traffic logic where they purposefully ram you at high speeds, plus having to sync traffic in a big lobby is a netcode issue.
They have to either completely rewrite the traffic in the game or take them out completely.

Ever thought about just hosting your own races wihtout S-class cars? and about the stall system and locals, you should have enough influence to speak to the devs that sit and control these things and let them know how you think it should be and see if you and them can find a happy medium.
People are wrong about locals, that car that hit Summit was driving and already had preprogrammed route to take. The only reason it looks stupid to is is because if we saw a car comming in our direction we would avoid it. But the npc in GTA has their path programmed and will turn regardless if you're driving towards them or not. You need to think " is there a way that this car could make a turn right now?"

It's stupid that streamers have to worry about getting banned for saying something like that, like he is not trying to harm the server he is just speaking his mind about the current problems.
The Drafter is a better car it's just harder to be good at than the massacro. The one good thing the massacro has is the double clutch nos boost which lets it compete as one of the best A classes. But if someone could manage to double clutch nos the drafter everytime it would blow every other car away because it's better in literally every other aspect than every A class. But one car being strong is what it is, the real problem I agree with summit are the fucking S classes coming into regular races. It's like you show up in an A+ expecting to be able to compete for 1st place if you're good enough but oh wait, there's an rx7, r8, and a fucking Bentley. man you wanna see rough locals... gta released the tuner update and made locals 1500x more aggressive when your in a tuner car.. they cut 4 lanes of traffic and go from 10mph to 100mph in a flash just to cut you off.. every single car turns in front of you .. they cut from oncoming traffic across the yellow line head on... its brutal man.
I get he is frustrated but no game is perfect. I think we just need a break from GTA.

summits been on one lately. I dont think it has anything to do with "the city" most people are having fun on nopixel, the problem is hes playing it like its a competitive game or something and letting every little thing get under his skin

Most people being the cops, and civs? Crims (which is a major part of GTA RP) are getting nothing but shit, one of their 4 man goes down, cops instantly bring out class 2's to hold them in the position for an hour. Drive by's, element of suprise? nope. You have the whole PD surrounding the area. With AR's that are basically snipers.
Chawa crashes whilst being chased, gives up completely, wasn't on the phone, doesn't have a "radio", cops instantly bring out class 2's because they saw 2 people on a bike with helmets on. Nevermind the fact that they were down from the street from alta apartments. Hey but I mean he's apart of CG so of course they're gonna be a little more on edge right? I disagrees with Summit here. I speculate that he had a bad day or a week... The summit i knew talked about how skill is more involved with hard stalls and few crashes to disable their cars. Yes ai can be blind in the game and Summit got unlucky and maybe at times too reckless.

Its been shit for summi lately in NP wants to race but there is open race so that S class can get ez dub, do boosting C class the whole PD chase him with 2 intercepter couple of cvpi and air 1, do bossting A+ Ripley fucks up with the spike, Angel spraying AR from behind in a bike while had a 2 cop hostage and the list goes on.
You're getting way too competitive over a GTA RP race. You're supposed to have fun, win or lose.
Everything he said is spot on except the last thing. I still dont understand the hate for controllers on the server. What, because its RP you should intentionally handicap yourself by using an input that youre uncomfortable with? IMO, the more natural your controller feels, the easier you going to be able to forget its even there, and focus on what you should be actually thinking/doing in the moment. If you have to fight with your controls, how is that any different from fighting with awkward game mechanics? It takes away from the immersion, and that should be the last thing you want with RP.

Sometimes the streamers have a "!playlist" command (or something similar) that gives you a playlist with the songs that they may use, but If not, you can always search for streamers playlists yourself (and usually you find a couple that are pretty well done xD)

The racing scene has just become to repetitive and racers have been focusing for 6 months trying to gather GNE for s class cars. This means that most good racers are sitting on 2 to 3 mil in GNE without being able to do anything with it as they want to buy multiple cars when the tuner shop comes out. This has also started a wave of racers trying to exploit everything in racing to try and gain an advantage.
Quick question: Why isn't there a "Racing Crime Syndicate" that controls the races on the streets and manages races based on classes?
And why isn't there a Legal Racing Scene?
I mean, even Need For Speed makes street races based around "car level". They could easily make races based on reputation, so that better racers could race against people from the same rep and similar car performance. Meanwhile newcomers with normal cars could race for less money and GNE without having this type of shit.

You mean the puppet master, people stopped listening to them so they gave up, Hutch got sick of the drama it seems and the lesser known people like Lucas got shadowbanned by the other racers at one point for trying to enforce the rules. Only Red really lays down the law anymore even Eddie doesnt seem to bother anymore because it doesnt seem to matter.
The devs need to take points from what he is saying I feel as if he is right on a lot of points. I dislike seeing this kind of stuff happening to summit. But with running a server there will be issues so this is that time. I genuinely hope for changes man this kind of shit bums me the fuck out.....
