Great day out bill how much does the ring weigh? And did you test it to see what karat it is? We would like to know I’m guessing 18k thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏻👊🏻
Wow !! That's the best "trash target" ever !!! Well worth the frustration trying to chase it.. lol!Just goes to show how a heavily worked area can still produce. Nice work Bill. All kinds of shiny ! Yeehaw !! 🤠⚒⛏👍👍👍
The good thing about the big Minelabs is you hit targets deep.👍 The bad thing about the big Minelabs is you have to dig deep targets.😲😅 Good job on that ring my friend. Thanks for sharing Bill.😎⛏⛏🔥🔥
Nice gold,my grandfather made rings by hand, last one he showed me how it was made from a silver dime,I was 12 or 13. Just ran across your channel, keep digging, thanks!
I had that ring on my finger the first time at your shop ! Bill is a great guy very helpful, got me into a minelab gpx 6000 can't wait to start finding treasures
@Jason D. What a find, indeed! Question is how did that ring get down into that hole so far into the ground… if we’re talking naturally, it would have taken, wow at least three to four hundred years? Probably longer. Maybe a ground dweller took it under ground for his own little keepsake… I think that’s the story here, but WOW I couldn’t believe he pulled that ring out of that deep hole!!
That ring is a cool rare find and the nugget too! I've dug .22 casings a foot or more deep that scorpions took into their tunnels and that's what I expected it to be. They sound good that deep too. I left the area Monday and hunting Gold Basin for a week or two while it warms up some up towards Alaska. It was great to see you again my friend! Keep digging ⛏ 👌
Hey Bill😃 If we could all make money off the wire we chase in the desert😁 I was not expecting that beautiful ring💥🌟 Fantastic💯 I love the Mercury dime story too. Glad that wasn't a live scorpion😯👍 Stay safe out there🌵💚
I heard that in the old days one could pick up free nuggets off the ground in the Bradshaws.I had a gold claim right outside of New River and had to sell it when my partners son died.
I'd say that ring is local made of local gold which I'm sure could be tested without damaging it! Fascinating to think about the man's family and the matching slightly smaller ring that probably adorns the finger of a great grand daughter or grand daughter.
Hi bill, hard couple holes dug today, I was digging a deep target once & found a hole nest of scorpions they took off all over YIKES, that ring was a cool find from a big handed guy, wonder how it got there too? Cool finds buddy, haven't checked in for awhile still watching tho, weather looks beautiful. Be well my friend.👍
Always good to see you Bill. LOL, I thought you would need an excavator for some of these. Any way you look at it today was a good day. It must be gold to have sunk that deep.
Prospected with my 6000 for the first time and found four rough little nuggets last Saturday afternoon. Sunday, for me, produced only trash - but my partner found a 22gram specimen in a detector hole. Sounded like a piece of trash! Congrats on finding a gold ring.
Hi Bill, thanks for the video! 1) Would a pinpointer be of use to you once you are in a hole? 2) Is a "hot rock" a rock that sets off a metal detector? 3) Have you ever found a meteorite? 4) Are you hunting on public land, or did you need permission/a permit? I realize that I asked a lot of questions - whatever you can answer is great thanks.
I got some news for you. I worked for Carnation in 1970 our product was caned milk and we soldered all the fill holes in all the the cans. So the can you found could have been from the 1970's
I'm with you I think the pack rat took that ring down to that level. You did some crazy digging there. But you've got to keep digging until you find the target. They are disappointing when it turns out to be trash but part of the game. Great video and a good lesson Bill for those who give up early. You just never know what is making the detector sound off.
Great day out bill how much does the ring weigh? And did you test it to see what karat it is? We would like to know I’m guessing 18k thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏻👊🏻
6 grams,14K, turns out it is stamped I just couldn't see it without my glasses lol
I hear you Bill........ I'm no spring Chicken. I have to use a magnifying glass to read stuff that small! LOLOL@@NUGGETSHOOTER
@@NUGGETSHOOTER So that is about $150-200 melt value. Not bad day.

Ya got gold, just not what you thought....lol That is awesome Bill! Gotta love finding a gold ring where ya least expect it!

Definitely a pack rat hoard found. Was detecting around some old mines last November and no gold but I did get a 1905 Barber dime.
That was a cool find, thanks for sharing.
Nice score on the ring, thanks for sharing.
I'd still watch it the video was just 45 mins of pulling wire chunks 16 inches deep. Awesome video man. Thanks!

That’s crazy Bill. The same thing happened to me in Quartzite, found gold wedding band. Haha
How cool is that and I know someone that lost one here while gold hunting
I love watching you dig. You are real. The ring was awesome, and you deserve that. Congrats!
Thank you very much
I kept thinking you were going to find the finger that went with the ring.
Maybe the rings shape helps to amplify the signal back to the detector, cool finds
I think so too
What a great find! You never know what you’re going to find. But any day out and about is a great day.
That was one heck of a awesome day.🤠👍
That ring and 1930's dime is a mystery indeed. Thanks Bill.
I heard that in the old days one could pick up free nuggets off the ground in the Bradshaws.I had a gold claim right outside of New River and had to sell it when my partners son died.
Awesome find Bill! Glad when the hard work pays in unusual ways!
Early Spaniards that explored the region 1600's ?

Nice finds! That's an old ring for sure as they didn't always mark them in the old days. Might have even been made by a miner. Totally awesome!
That's the one aspect of metal detecting I like, you just never know what you are going to find.
Very true Dan
Congratulations 👍

Wow...Bill.....what a great find! My advice....buy a lottery ticket real soon!!!
Always good to see you Bill. LOL, I thought you would need an excavator for some of these. Any way you look at it today was a good day. It must be gold to have sunk that deep.
19:15 did you leave the finger bones in the hole?
Very cool ring, must have been a pretty big guy lost that. Great find.
Awesome find!
I like your advice of digging everything out there. It's probably best chance of finding a nugget next to some trash.
I'm Jonesin to get back out.
Prospected with my 6000 for the first time and found four rough little nuggets last Saturday afternoon. Sunday, for me, produced only trash - but my partner found a 22gram specimen in a detector hole. Sounded like a piece of trash! Congrats on finding a gold ring.

I said that in the video as well as put it on screen, It indeed would have helped this time
@@NUGGETSHOOTER Ok, sorry, thanks.
Sweet!
Awesome find Bill! You had to work for it lol
I got some news for you. I worked for Carnation in 1970 our product was caned milk and we soldered all the fill holes in all the the cans. So the can you found could have been from the 1970's
Thanks I was told that they stopped using solder on food cans in the 1920s I knew other countries still do it.
@@NUGGETSHOOTER What I didn't say was how much I enjoy you videos. Thanks keep up the good work.
Cool find, Bill! Congrats!
