A mothers cooking is so special and a lot of people take that for granted . Watching your mama cook made me emotional I cried lmaooo. We actually have a version of the desert you made here in Germany, too! It's layered crackers and chocolate cream which are then refrigerated overnight. When you cut into it, the slices look like little brick walls because of the layering. The dish is called "kalter Hund" or cold dog, but don't ask me why 😂. the first dessert is similar to a Slavic dessert I make with my grandma and mom its cookies in melted chocolate formed into a sausage/salami and its called "Шоколадная Колбаса" / Shokoladnaya Kolbasa and it's really good I love eating it for dessert and pretending its real salami :)
