Mizu has been my favorite Superyacht for a few years!! It's just a great looking vessel! Now, I just need someone to give it to me as a gift (along with millions of dollars to pay for the crew, upkeep and taxes)!! LOL!!
The engines and generators will need a rebuild soon which will also require some systems to be updated. Whoever buys this boat is facing refit costs of 10-15% of the purchase price fairly soon. Nicer yachts out there in better shape for similar prices.
@@jaybentley2149 Out of interest, why would they need replacing....too many miles/age. It is a very specific design ; militaristic. I like the look of it, but less sure on the interior.

I think that's part of why MIZU is "only" $9.9mil while other yachts of similar size and age are 3 to 4 million more. The engines have 4700 hours on them, as of March 2020, so they are getting some hours on them. MTU makes a great engine, but that's a lot of hours for even a diesel engine. The hours reading was from March 2020, so there are even more hours on them, even with the pandemic. Not that I could even pay for an oil change, so I'm just playing armchair quarterback here! HA!!
I would have to remove the basket ball hoop. It requires a dedicated crew person just for that hoop. Yup, he/she would be needed to dive overboard each time the ball fell in the water! Added cost.
Hey Frazier I need a clarification please? To Dennis yachts, they’re telling the viewer that this boat is able to go 30 Nautica miles plus and 13 knots at 4500 Natutica miles !!!! Really like to find out which one is the real truth?? Also as a battleship for ForMelody I recall, the other viewers are mentioned something about the highest solid metal Materials are used in front of the ship and round the halls of rest of ship on the outside!!!
Miss is both a gorgeous and unique boat. But, all the "various internal areas" look like they are quite small for 53 metre boat. Boat is defiantly has a lower volume for 53 metres......narrow beam? $10m is excellent value, cheap is relative considering those MTU's will cost the National Debt to rebuild!!!

People with greater integrity and intelligence know that the hoop can easily be removed, and that the hot tub is not only a common feature on luxury yachts, but a preferred hang out area.
One of my favs in the market and at 9.9 million for a yacht this size with a 26 knot max speed, it’s a great deal. IMHO.
Under 10 million with transatlantic range is a good deal. The only headache could be 17 years old engines.
