Movie Summary:

When Elsa realizes that the power has been hers all along and said “I am found” I bawled my eyes out in the theater
Ohgosh! so so true. I don't know how many times I've seen this movie but the song Show Yourself will always be such an emotional experience for me. I'm tearing up while writing this. It's such a powerful song! Mostly because I want to realize myself as well like Elsa did during that part of the movie.

Samee, and also in the scene when they found their parents ship, that was so emotional.
kristoff literally went from having no one, besides the trolls oc, to being king of arendelle
And actually deserved it (the king part)
I love Show Yourself because of the power behind the song, but honestly my favorite has to be Next Right Thing. To push yourself through that grief from losing someone, when you know you have to keep going, is so rough. And you can do it, by keeping moving toward the next right thing. So incredibly moving.
So, Into the Unknown became my life song in 2020. Not only was the whole lockdown thing happening, but I left my job of 14 years to begin with a start-up company, my boyfriend broke up with me and moved out, and then in 2021 my cat died and I got kidney cancer. I was literally going into the unknown, every step I took. In 2022, I got a tattoo of the Frozen 2 "snowflake" with the words "Into the Unknown" underneath. Then I got a tattoo of the water spirit to remind me that just like Elsa, I have conquered the worst obstacles in my life and turned them into assets.

My favorite thing about Lost In The Woods is that Johnathan Groff (the man who voices Kristoff) voices all of the reindeer backing tracks as well as his own. It just goes to show how insanely talented Johnathan Groff is

I relate hard to “the next right thing.” So that’s my favourite song of the movie. I literally bawled my eyes out in the cinema. So did my brother. We’re the only 2 left of our family, and so we’ve always told each other that we just do the next step. Sometimes it’s too hard to think far ahead. You only need to have the courage to do what is in front of you, and eventually you’ll get to your destination
I saw Idina live in 2017 (she did a concert hehe), she sang Let It Go & Defying Gravity - when I tell you 12 yr old me was SHOOK, she is absolutely incredibleeee
My favorite is lost in the woods the harmonies Jonathon groff recorded is crazy. I think he recorded like 15 different harmonies for it. My daughters favorite was all is found the lullaby mom sings

Elsa is the fifth spirit some say she actually did die but to become her full self she became a spirit that’s why we kristoff said “you look different” she said or something because she is the bridge between humans and spirit
I assumed that was because she literally got a whole new outfit and hair during Show Yourself or Into The Unknown

I was severely tired of Frozen after seeing & hearing it for years. Color me surprised when I ended up genuinely loving Frozen 2. It literally brings me to tears. Anna’s journey of grief in the cave with “The Next Right Thing” hit me hard.
But it was “Show Yourself” that became one of my favorite songs that year. For Elsa to go from living a lost & isolated life, fearful of herself, to realizing “I am found…Step into your power…Grow yourself…You are the one you've been waiting for” - that part hits me deep. I tear up every time.

I love both movies but I do have to say this one is my favorite and interesting fact: the scene of the song lost in the woods that kristoff does is actually an idea they got from the band Queen's music video of Bohemian Rhapsody.
I like both as well but number 2 is my number one favorite.
The Next Right Thing is my favourite song, I think it's a message that genuinely connects to finding strength in profound grief. Just a beautiful, simple message. And I love that Anna got a more emotionally charged song with this one instead of only the light songs.

There’s a theory of Elsa that she dies trying to cross the dark sea nd drowns but gets saved by the water spirit to allow her to get to Attahalan. Idk but it made sense to me.
There’s another one of Attahalan being Antartica nd something having to do with the Northern lights.
Part 2was most DEFINITELY my favorite with visuals, music, backstory, and growth.

Sir, I'm so grateful you left the Anna sequence with "The Next Right Thing"! It's my favorite song, even if it doesn't please everyone, to see Anna completely destroyed by the "death" of Elsa and her best friend but drawing on her last strength to save the future of Arendelle and the forest, I always end up full of emotion lol You are one of the only react to have left this sequence, which makes you, as usual, the best react I follow! This is my favourite movie of all time, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Show Yourself is my favourite of the songs (and my favourite Disney song in general). It's rare I don't cry to it ❤ And the little fire salamander is named Bruni! I definitely recommend checking out the Frozen specials and shorts, too.

When it comes to the plot, I found it pretty good! The only downside was poor Kristoff getting sidelined until he was needed again via the proposal thing. I like the proposal, just not how they did it. (His song is a banger though).
I do wish Elsa didn't save Arendelle, the Arendelle that was built on a lie. (Though it does reflect the real world somewhat) - I would rather have all the people rebuild. And it could've made us realise Elsa was alive when Anna did.
But I like Frozen 2 a lot, it's on par with the first one for sure.

Idina was the original Elphaba and I saw her on broadway. She was incredible. Frozen was actually a HUGE transition for me because I had to let go of her as Elphaba and let her be Elsa 😅

My favorite song is definitely between Show Yourself and Lost in the Woods. I LOVE the theatrics of Show Yourself but Lost in the Woods is the classic love song and you can't go wrong with the love song especially when Jonathan frickin Groff is singing it. As for which movie I like better, the second definitely has the better songs, but the first had better writting in my opinion, I think the dialogue flows a lot better in the first one. Both plots are equally as good for me so I like different aspects of each one better but I can't choose a favorite. I think I would just have to say the first one because I saw it in theaters when I was 7 so its super nostalgic for me.

Lost in the Woods is actually my least favorite song throughout both movies, but that's really just because I don't care for 80's ballads. Jonathan killed it, and the lyrics are great, it's just not my vibe. 😅 Into the Unknown is probably my favorite from the sequel.

The 2nd movie made me take the first one even more seriously. Anna being overly worried after finally reconecting with her sister and Elsa still feeling somewhat trapped despite being in a better mental state. It's a great and logic continuation from the happenings from Frozen 1. So proud of Anna! She's great as a queen, way more realistic (sorry Elsa, I love you).
Fav song? Next Right Thing is very mature so I like it and then I also like Into The Unknown with the voice being so well acted, those are my top competing with each other. Show Yourself is beautiful as well but it might be bellow. From the first movie, it's easly Let It Go

To understand better the post-credit scene you should Watch Frozen Fever a short story about Anna’s birthday happening after the 1st movie. There’s also a Christmas special and a mini series of like 6 episodes of Olaf doing recaps of other Disney movies.

"I'm here, what do you need?" was the most green flag energy ever seen in a disney movie. He had zero idea what she knew, what was going on, what the backstory was. He couldn't propose then because he was all about her, selflessly agreeing to whatever her plan was. Everything she needed, he would be for her.
