V6 is still on the market for this car. And you have now the option for the four cylinder hybrid engine, producing the same amount of horsepower than the V6. (330hp)
Why they not use the V6? Because its to heavy with a hybrid system in the front. The cars stability would be horrible so they made that desicion with a lighter engine.

I think a more redesigned vehicle should have been thrown out, this one is presented is great but the models has been on market for too long , so i think the maseratti should be as carful as posible to launch new models to continue to be uniqe

Disappointed by the presentation... Started ok then i fell asleep. Car is unfortunately disappointing for true Maserati fan.. Slow, poor engine and nothing special.. Sorry i will stick to my 3200gt and wait for the MC20. Hopefully will be a lot more impressive...

I want a Nettuno 620hp V6 in a light Ghibli or Guilia with composite wheels axis and roof...sick and tired of AMG rubber grinders....a 4 cylinders it is 400hp minimum. Amg45 has over 420 already...
I hope you will also keep building 100% gasoline cars next to the half or fully electric cars. I believe you will lose at least half or more of your fans if you’d give that up. I mean, I think it’s good more and more cars are becoming electric - but that’s just not something for Maserati, in my opinion. If you do that you’re losing the most important brand signature. My dream car is the Quattroporte GTS and I am working very hard to buy one in the near future ...but with an electric engine the car loses the true Maserati experience. Once fully electric it’ll be almost worthless to me and I could just as well buy a Tesla (which is cheaper and probably has much better tech). Further more, Alexa built in?? There goes my privacy... Alexa listens to everything you say, uses it for commercial purposes and probably much more than they tell you. And an Android system? While Apple is just way more premium, easier and more instinctive to use, has better security and guarantees much more privacy...

Maserati has never used a V10. Their roots are 6-8 cylinder engines.
Why are they don’t make a new lifting for this new ghibli ? Its truly like the same design
A whole new Ghibli from the ground up comes out in a few more years that’s why.
The design is so beautiful that they haven't changed it since 2013.

There is still 350 and 430 V6, and 530-580hp V8s

I'm assuming it's the same 2.0 turbo from Alfa Romeo. If so not bad but it would've been interesting to use their 3.0 V6 and hybridize it.
