I picked pile 1 and it gave me confirmation about what I already felt I needed to do. I got married to a man who poured all his pain on me and then behaved as if it was all my fault. We are still together but our marriage isn't salvageable and I know it. He's gotten better in some ways but I feel it is just codependency. I am actively doing shadow work and doing everything I can to heal me now. With that I am trying to be more open and understanding towards him but I refuse to let him hurt me again. I do see us being friends one day but I know in my heart I'm done.
