Feel I'm learning so much with a helpful perspective. I've ordered Loeb's but you recommend On the Soul too. Very interesting that speculative thought is an enquiry into desire in the means to action.

Yes - to reconstruct Aristotle's philosophy of action on the interrelation between desire and intellect, you want to look at On the Soul as well

You're very welcome. Yes, when it comes to this sort of stuff, Aristotle is going to be a bit distant from Plato
