i think they (taeho/bom) should have a sibling bond more than a relationship , taeho is the only one that can keep aran in control and bom is the only one that can make maru let his emotions loose . but it's good that aran get a scare like this so she can get her sh*t right.

"MARU" knows how to act as seen so clearly in this epidsode with Bom..his expressions showed he is hopeless, disappointed and hurt too with Bom's attitude.
If a person who doesnt know how to act, we wont know how he felt cause his face will be "blank with no expressions".

The construction worker at the beginning is too insensitive. Cement blocks fell on Maru's mother. The woman did not plan to kill herself and Bom's father. Why is he trying to make the kids hate each other? Ridiculous!

Dans beaucoup de films, j'ai remarqué que les protagonistes (souvent de la même famille) aime a cacher des évènements qui ce sont passés. A lieu de dire ce qui c'est passé ils s'arrêtent en disant: "Non, c'est rien"....................C'est énervant.
Aran might be like that but I hate how Taeho didn't even came to her instead came to another woman. Goodness, Aran is his fiancee not Bom!
I was looking at HanCinema and found that today (Christmas Day!) is actress Choi Soo-rin's (Taebom's mom) birthday and also that her older sister is a part of the cast (the character named Midal, although i can't remember which character she is.) Anyway, happy birthday to this beautiful actress whose character is unfortunately married to the creepiest villain on the show.
P.S. And, speaking of "creepy" characters: Could somebody please punch that prissy fruit with the glasses who works at the pub in the face for me? Preferably knocking him into Aran and spilling a vat of that wine on the both of them with possibly a few sacks of flour or some assorted rotten vegetables thrown into the mix, while harpy grandma and wicked stepmother are walking by so that they might become collateral damage in the same incident. I promise not to ask for anther thing from Santa this year...:)

Um is it only me that feels like maru is too emotional? Idk I just feel like he gets too emotional at times
He is just such a bad actor, that's why.
Je trouvais, Taeho, sympa au début, mais là, depuis que je crois que ces sentiments pour Aran ont cessés et qu'il est tombé pour Bom, je trouve qu'il se comporte comme un mufle vis à vis de Aran, même si celle-ci est fort irritante par moment.
Maru's acting didn't bother me at first, but he seems to be getting worse as the drama goes on instead of better. He did a good job in The Lover, but now that I think back most of his scenes were dealing with the awkwardness of it all not the emotional turmoil that comes with discovering your sexuality conflicts with your culture. He's good at the cutesy stuff, nothing too deep. I'm already over Maru, not because I like Taeho, but because the acting is so bad he doesn't need so much screen time.
I think its how they want 2 portray his character right now, taeho is falling for oh bom not a shock i would 2 while maru doesnt show anything 2 get oh boms attention he just baby's her around like a brother sister thing or a best friends type of thing. In asain culture emotions like that would be seen in private not in public like other cultures.
Daniel Rojas I'm not talking about character development, I'm talking about his acting. Its bad. He's stiff and unrealistic in the light scene's, and in the more complicated emotional scenes he's terrible.

After reading the comments of many epidsodes, i felt sorry for the actor who portrayed the role of Maru.
Perhaps his "Maru" character is dull and quiet ie why his facial expressions also "boring"...not much expressions.
To me, his acting okie..though he isnt that good looking like other young actors, he looks pleasant.
When i saw the initial epidsodes, Maru and Bom are the ones that made me decide to continue watching this drama.
Maru and Bom is the only reason why I'm continuing...🔆

I think it would be awesome but remember Mr.An his dad was responsible for puran(oh bom) disappearing a lot of things will unfold but i see maru disappearing back 2 the states in a few episodes or 10 episodes depending on how they gonna do taeho and aran. If oh bom can get the picture of her and aran as kids from her idiot step mom and randomly show it 2 aran's mom we can get the ball rolling
