      Did you use it in marine envivornment sea . In how many days the connectors of rusted, any other repair issues? What about images in murky water.

    You should consider mounting a bright underwater LED light to the bottom of your kayak to make up for the lack of sunlight.

    Great video:) feel like the camera is very low res, but your video seem like better lol

      It is pretty low res, but good enough when viewed on the 7" screen.

    This is great. How were you able get the side angle view of your jig? Was it attached to the wire attached to the camera? It then appears that the camera was moving sideways because you were filming the jig from the side.

    • @thejungleexplorer
      @thejungleexplorer  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was just sitting still dangling the jig in front of the camera. It was not attached to the camera. The camera can be rigged where it points down at the hook or it shoots horizontally. It is difficult to control the direction of the camera when it is rigged to shoot horizontally. You have to be still and let it settle down and then you can twisted the cable to aim it where you want.

    Is it a 30meter or 30 feet cable? You seemed a little confused that would be good to know. Also does it have a light on it?

    • @thejungleexplorer
      @thejungleexplorer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It says on the product page that the cable is 30m. I did not personally string it out and measure it so I am just going with what it says on the product page. I often say feet instead of meters out of habit because I am not used to thinking in terms of meters in the US.

    The underwater video looks clearer than mine (eyoyo 720p). When I turned on IR, I can only see lots of bubble-like large dots. I saw it’s much better when you used flashlight, will you recommend some underwater lights for fishing? How is it practical to set up the underwater camera vertical (looking downward)?

    • @thejungleexplorer
      @thejungleexplorer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. Is was not using an under water light in the video, I was using a bright hand held light that I was shining into the water.
      Something this would work fine if you could find a way to attach it: Ad amzn.to/380INAR

    I'm thinking I'd like to use this while moving in my kayak but looking towards the side. The shape of the camera suggests that it would look rearward while moving. Is this accurate?

    • @thejungleexplorer
      @thejungleexplorer  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      My guess would be that it would aim backward if you were moving forward in your Kayak. I cannot say for certain because I have not tried it, but it would seem logical that it would do this. I am not sure how you would rig it to keep it shooting sideways while moving. You may need to make some kind of rudder system for it.

      Yes. Please look in the description of the video for some links to software to fix this problem.

    How difficult would this unit be to connect to a downrigger wire? And do you think it would work with a moving boat that's trolling at like 2 mph or less?

    Can’t you just put the bait on the camera hook and pull it in when hits

    • @thejungleexplorer
      @thejungleexplorer  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You could tie a line to the camera and rig a bait in front of the camera. I know some guys that do this. I don't really like how the video turns out though. It is not watchable once a fish is on the line. So, I don't see the point of doing it that way.

      I would suggest attaching a release clip (that you would find on a downrigger cannonball or a planer board) to the camera or cord somewhere ($12 item). You would send the camera and your fishing line (from a regular rod) attached to the release clip. When a fish was hooked the clip would release your fishing line from the camera and you can now use your rod to reel it in. I say this because any fish of decent size could easily stress the cord or the camera.
      I've ordered one and it is expected to arrive tomorrow. I'm looking forward to trying it out.

    How strong is the cable?

    • @thejungleexplorer
      @thejungleexplorer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do not know. I would expect it to be as strong as any other wire of a similar size.

    I realize this isn't a product that you designed that you reviewed, but considering that you had success converting the file type, you may be best suited to answer this.
    When I insert the SD card into my computer, I get an error that says F:\ this file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Etc.
    When I open my file explorer, the F drive doesn't show up. I don't know how to get to the point where I can run the file through your recommended converter when it won't even show the drive on the desktop.
    I REALLY appreciate any help that you can offer.
    Thanks!

      Can I ask you what operating system you are using? I am a Windows user and I cannot remember ever seeing a message like the one you are getting. So I am wondering if you are using an Apple OS.

    • @macshatchetman13

      @@thejungleexplorer Thanks for replying. I'm using Windows 10 on a PC.
      I got an adaptor so that the tiny card can go in the SD slot and that's the message. I switched out the tiny card from the camera with another and it popped up in file explorer just like any other removable device.
      I've got a video of retrieving my phone from the bottom of the lake that I'd like to pull off of this card somehow. 🙃

      @@thejungleexplorer I just made videos with a SanDisk card, allowing the Eyoyo to format it first, and they are playing back fine on the camera itself and I can see it on the desktop (can't playback yet as I need to convert as you suggested).
      I think the problem is probably that in my haste, I forgot to format the eyoyo disk first and or the disk itself is defective. Sucks because I thought I had an amazing video on it.
      Thanks for your time in helping me to to figure this out.

    • @thejungleexplorer

      No question it could be a lot better. That is why I clarified in the video that the video resolution is not 720p. It is 244, which very low resolution. But the screen is only 7 inches, so when viewing it live, it actually looks better than the recording when you watch it on a 24" monitor.
      This is definitely design just to use for live viewing, not for recording videos to share. Most video players cannot even play the videos without converting them to MP4 with the Handbrake program.
