Those are so cute. They would be good to use as testers of colours or techniques before using on a larger item. If you did them with uv resin you could try out several ideas in a few minutes. And they are cute to boot.

Good question, it's just glue dots :) I guess you could use regular glue but the glue dots are just so easy and mess free :)

I'm so glad other people like your videos and your unusual use of off kilter words, I didnt want you to think i was being horrible so havent mentioned them, but I've spotted lots during the last few videos.😘 Loved them. Be lovely to use the hugs in fancy gift wrapping as well.

Bear in mind I am English and English Language is one of my specialisms. I have a local accent...... which bits would you like to call me out on? It'd be fun to know and discuss, interesting. If you have issues with my use of the English language I would not consider it horrible unless it was uneducated and erroneous lol. I just would like to know what on earth you are talking about :) I'm intrigued
I'd imagine it might be more controlled if you did the resin in layers and maybe laminated the paper ones if you don't want them to absorb the resin. However, they are lovely just the way they are.
yeh but the whole point was not to, that's been done in other videos. And i did want the paper to absorb the resin, that was the technique I was showing :)

Did you hear me scream "NOOOO!", when you trashed that blue one with the gold in it? Someone would have loved that. lol You crack me up girl. Today was a classic with glitter and stuff being thrown around, and when the dust settled - GORGEOUS! They are all so unique and beautiful. I'm going to do the fabric thing :) Also, I loved the tip about the foil. I will never stir mine in the resin again.😊
Lol well the blue one was terrible up close. The foil - I dtir it in, burnish it onto the m ould, chuck it in and leave it - you get different effects whatever you do. It's gilding flakes yet I rarely actually gild haha. depends what effect you're after, isn't it good to know there are so many alternatives. It's worth having a play

@@debraleblanc6122 I try things that other crafters do and they don't turn out like theirs either - I think that's the joy of resincraft - every piece is unique :) Also that's how new techniques are born. And why I also show the fails lol

We made petri Pocket Hugs for last Christmas. They were loads of fun to make and I think the family liked them. We will have to try some of the many ideas you showed us. I really love the black one with silver acetate. Thank you for sharing! 😊
You're welcome Bob - I think that one's my fave too. I might do some more of that sort soon and try doing the front with UV resin and the back with PU - imagine how fast that would be to make them

depending on what cricut you have, there may be a setting for washi tape. it works well for thinner vinyls and papers.
Maker 3, yes it has a washi tape setting, I use it for stickers. I didn't think to try it on those papers, thanks for the tip! Hugs

How did you find a heart that matched the shape so perfectly? I know how to size up or down but the mere are a million different heart shapes.
I created it in Cricut Design space, then shrank it slightly so it would fit just inside. The template is in my design space folder and the link is in the video info so you can grab a copy. I think Cricut are charging 99p for it, though I'm not adding a cut on top as I wanted to give to away free

Quick and cute gift to make people feel seen and appreciated. Love it! 😍👍
What would I do to make these? I'd probably have some fun with polymer clay! I can see making some mokumegane stacks (adding some foils maybe and lots of translucent clay), slicing them up thin and laying them out on a thin sheet of clay and then flattening it out to *really thin* to cut a bunch of hearts out of the sheets then baking them. Put them in resin to magnify the effects and you can make mini art pieces with very little actual materials and they'll turn out unique every time! 😉
BTW, you might want to try taking one of those little hearts with you to a papercrafts store and see if you can find an actual paper punch or die cutter that can cut the shape for you. Admittedly, with having the cutting machine, you don't really need it but there are some things the machine apparently can't cut so it might help.
good ideas there. There are punches for that shape but I can produce 27 at once on my Maker 3, so , easy peasy :)

Yes of course. I stand them upside down till as much as possible runs out, then clean them with Wonder Wipes. Alcohol sprayed onto kitchen paper works well too. Then leave them a couple of days before reusing too in case there's any residue still in there - it'll go hard so you can use the pot again
