I am a swimmer, but I've always had huge respect for dancers, especially classical ones like you. I don't know anything, but my guess would be - you have a good technique. It was so nice watching you dancing.
@@coltthestarsheriff3544 yes! i’m not as confident in it but it teaches me to move my body in different ways and actually ends up helping my ballet technique!
@@sarah.elizabeth5845 i understand. Just like in swimming, you can't be excellent in every technique. I am good in backstroke and breaststroke, but i need more focus and effort in butterfly and even free. But it's important to swim every style to prevent injury and work every muscle. I don't know if there is the same rule in dancing. Maybe you are just as good in modern, you just need a little more practice. I don't know if you know, younger sister of Penelope Cruz, Monica, is trained both in modern, ballet, and flamenco ( flamenco is her specialty though). So it is possible to dance almost everything. 🙂
I’m a swimmer too and I love watching dancers (especially classical like you said) and the effortless looking technique they have. I always wished I could’ve pursued dancing but I love swimming and it’s a good sport for me (despite it making me lose all my flexibility haha).
@@sarahlane3533 but swimming is good for flexibility, hip rotation and all... recently a woman, former ballerina told me on My Swim Pro fb page how she recently learned how to swim, and how swimming and dancing are in some ways simmilar, in some ways very different. But swimmimg is good for dancers anyways, it is recommended. I wish i learned profesional dance too. Both swimming and dancing have that feel of freedom while doing it, that's how i see it.
Ignore the critics here, I hope you do well, remember everyone will always have a comment, dancers know we are never perfect, listen only to your teachers, no cares about you more than your ballet teacher. Knowing how difficult adage can be I am utterly amazed at how easy, beautiful and effortless you make it look 😍 you seem like you really deserve to get in x
just a bit of advice: after that soutenu during centre (7:10) really make sure you hit that fifth, even if it's only for a short period of time and for the preparation in second before you do the pirouette from second (7:20) really make sure you turn out your feet last but not least, during the pique turns (11:59) make sure your passé is turned out from a fellow ballerina
Your arches and your point is excuse the pun en pointe! No but seriously you are incredibly talented and I think you make this look absolutely effortless and as an adult who has recently taken back up with ballet classical ballet at that I know the hours and pain you must have gone through to get to where you are and to make it seem so effortless you deserve to get into any school you will apply to you're amazing
You have a stunning first arabesque! I also love your sissone en avant and fouetté sauté. You are beautifully trained and I wish you every success in following your dreams ❤️❤️
So elegant, so graceful and has AMAZING strength, beautiful job on your training, don't listen to critics and other people's comments, if this is what puts a smile on your face, then smile and dance your heart OUT!🥰 Keep going you'll go FAR!!♥️💞🩰
you’re a beautiful dancer but the thing that stands out most to me, are your jumps. they’re fantastic. absolutely beautiful. your lines are long and elegant. i cant even fully express how much i love them lol
I have a question, do you like only post a video entittled “.... audition “ and the company sees the video or do you publish it just for entretainement pruposes
I originally only uploaded the video to youtube to attach the link to my application for Royal and was going to make it private, but ended up making it public for fun!
@@tnt7913 She may not have, but I have. I danced for 14 years, and I will tell you that this dancer has clear talent and experience. Please refrain from making rude comments about other people.
Your lines are beautiful! You're so close to hitting that third turn on the right just need to pull up more than thinking about your momentum which you have already. Merde!
From an internet random, perhaps pay attention to the turn out of your supporting leg during developpe, and when preparing to pirouette, etc. You show some very nice lines. Good luck.
Hello. I'm called Sarah too! I love dancing a lot but I'm now where as good as you are. Would you care to tell for which grade you are auditioning? I had a hard time guessing your age ☺️
Very lovely. Your beautiful arches in the split. That thumbnail arabesque is gorgeousness itself. And look at the turn out. Give more snap to your pique turns, more "attack".
You’re doing great! Just looking at how you’re flexing your legs I know I wouldn’t be able to do that without getting at least one musclecramp Edit: I don’t know shit about ballet but it looks like you’re doing great
you are lovely with very good lines and extension. Just work through your metatarsals more on your tendus, especially when closing back into 5th. I wish you success, you are worth it😀😀😀
Oye "XonatE",por qué no pones a hacer poPO???Nena ,el ballet es una imbEcilidad, memez y estupidez,la Carrera de Mariposa y Mariposón no debería ser estudiada!!!!
Looks very Chichetti technique. Beautiful feet. Good balance. Needs more upper body expression. Nice pirouettes. Good control. She needs to step out more on her pique turns.
As a Cecchetti teacher, I do not think so... More a general European style, which is very wise for an audition. But also as a Cecchetti teacher, I'm very much in favour of perfect control, before trying that upper body expression. Very lovely training, this girl is going places!
@@MarijeK She has great control. I like Russian technique. I miss being a dancer very much. The young lady did well. As you know, she'll improve everyday. Auditions are tough. Nerve racking.
