It’s gonna be so worth it! I had my baby on April 10th, it wasn’t as bad it seems. My birth was actually as peaceful as I imagine birth could be. You got this mama! Congratulations 🎉
I personally love to cosleep/bed share (following the 7 safety rules). We have a bassinet that my last baby fit in for six months. He used it for naps or for his first stretch of sleep before I went to bed myself. The baby before that just used the bassinet feature on our Pack'n'Play. Once the baby gets bigger, she can use the Pack'n'Play as a minicrib, or you can get a small mattress on the floor Montessori style. A crib isn't at all necessary, but I do have one and use it for naps once baby outgrows the bassinet and at night time once baby weans and starts sleeping through the night (at about 2 years old).
Congrats!!! We definitely needed a crib because our son outgrew the bassinet by 4 mos old. At 5-6 mos we started putting him to sleep in his crib in his room.
Do you want to be friends with me on tex I'm a girl I'm 38 old I'm in a wheel chair my body hurts me every day so if I ask you too play with your body on tex
My daughter is having a baby girl, she’s decided to have the baby shower after the baby is born she’s now going into her 8th month but she had her first baby 8 years ago his BD will be Aug 27th he will be 9 years old he was 1pd and 10 oz she’s already 2 pds she will be due in October if she carry’s her till then
I absolutely love how you talked about researching and reading reviews for almost every product. You are going to be a great mom. Also, we used the pack n play as a crib and didn’t get an actual crib until baby was climbing out of the pnp. We got a 5 in 1 crib.
Girl I feel you, I’m having a girl after three boys and as you said I’m going to be annoying and buy everything pink 😅😅😅😅 pink has always been my favorite color, so I’m definitely going overboard 😊😊😊
Lol yess! I’m still trying to have a balance with getting certain items in pink but I’m definitely using that fact that she’s a girl & loving pink as an excuse to get alot of pink stuff 😅😅😅 I love it! & congratulations on pregnancy 💕✨ my mom kept having kids until she had a girl so I have 4 older brother… So I know you are excited 😊
Just to give a differing opinion, we only put our little in a bassinet in our room for her first month or so of life. Since then she’s been on her own in her crib in her own room. She sleeps 8+ hours a night!
I feel like a lot of mom's and people buy things you don't really need. Like a breastfeeding pillow is very unnecessary.. Prop yourself up and hold the baby. Even as a first time mom with my daughter I told people to just buy me some diapers and wipes I'll get the rest because I just knew I didn't need all that extra stuff I mean it's cute N all but nah.. Then the toys will come handy later on.
I completely agree. But you can definitely use a boppy pillow for more than just breastfeeding. I always prop my babies up on it when they’re still little. (For anyone who bought one and doesn’t know what to do with it)
It's a learning experience for everyone. so far i actually love my breastfeeding pillow but everyone has there own preference. I've definitely returned a few items that i found i didn't need once she was born lol
I’m having my first child and I’m so excited and scared lol congratulations 💗☺️😭

i know i'm late. I am not a parent but my sister had a transitioning crib and it stayed as her main bed until middle school.
Thank you 😊
me watching this at 17 knowing damn well i’m not having a baby 😂
I have three children and to be honest you won’t need a crib for at least the first eight months or so.
Thank you! That means I got time then
Just to give a differing opinion, we only put our little in a bassinet in our room for her first month or so of life. Since then she’s been on her own in her crib in her own room. She sleeps 8+ hours a night!
