Nmixx is a very skilled group, they have the two best vocalists of the 4th generation of kpop and even the one with a lower vocal range can become the main vocalist of many others groups.
O.O has to be the best song ever made for a first reaction, the shock value is crazy, always love to watch reactors get confused by it😂 I got into NMIXX because I listened to Dice and thought their producers were crazy, but I liked it. Then I discovered that they are crazy performers, they do stage practices (dance practice but with live singing), it is also great content to react to. And also they funny af, so I think the thing you mentioned about getting attatched to new groups is gonna keep happening for now

I don't know why, but I just really love music from JYP artists! I love TWICE, NMIXX, ITZY, VCHA, and Stray Kids a lot! I've just started getting into NiziU and NEXZ by watching their survival shows Nizi Project Seasons 1 and 2! I've heard a few MissA, GOT7, 2PM, Wonder Girls, Sunmi, and J.Y.Park songs here and there. I haven't really heard anything by DAY6 and Xdinary Heroes (I'm sure there are more groups under JYP that I never knew about. I just looked at the JYP Entertainment channel, and there is a group called BOY STORY that I've never heard of before).
Nmixx are my favorites of all favorites. The talent overflows from every single member, their songs are always so fun and interesting, they are dancing machines, and their personalities are that of the perfect type of people. I hope you continue your journey! They are especially amazing performing Live!!
After you watch their videos, you need to watch their It’s Live performances! Also, expect the unexpected from Nmixx. Sometimes they do change-ups, sometimes they don’t. For the next videos, you should watch the Tank performance video, Young Dumb Stupid and then Love Me Like This.

👋💁♀️ It's becoming common for me to come here to give you an informative base, 😉ℹ️🧐 but let's go... the first song, O.O is their debut and it was a general shock, for everybody 😳⁉️ we didn't know that this issue of 'change up' or 'nmix' was their concept. But you're right, when we listen to the song more often it becomes interesting. But when Dice came, the first comeback, it was easier to understand and appreciate the concept of changing styles into the music. 🫶 and yes, they do this quite often, especially in the title tracks.

If you dislike the mix sound, I recommend love me like this, roller coaster, party o clock, and run for roses. If you do I recommend dash(the best song EVER) and soñar. I also recommend their whole EP in fe304 break(literally a no skip album). Passion fruit and Boom are bangers. Also they're having a comeback on August 19th and they released the highlight medley and it's so GOOD. But they do highlight medley differently, they show previews of the songs but instead of just showing parts of the song they give us a full performance and do it with ACAPELLA. Their Vocals are on a while nother level and is literally heavenly so I HIGHLY recommend staning them and check out their new comeback soon.❤❤
The "change up" is definitely a thing for them. I also thought O.O was jarring. Their newer songs "Dash" and "Soñar" seem to have more palatable mixes. and "Run for Roses" would be a good way to round out the set 😉 btw, I wanted to say the lyrics of "Dice" literally explains their playbook. I loved the imagery they painted to prepare you for the change up

Nmixx initially suffered a lot of hate because of this change of rhythm in the middle of the songs, O.O was a very hated song, and considered one of the worst debuts in kpop, but nowadays they are very loved, mainly for their incredibly stable vocals live, I recommend you see some of their performances
you should react to all their title tracks and their latest album “Fe3O4: Break” all the songs in this album are amazing and have different atmospheres, it’s really hard to choose a favorite song. Also, they have a comeback coming soon, August 19!! They recently released trailers, it looks like a real movie and even has a bit of a horror concept…
They're kind of stereotyped for the switch-ups (and they do have multiple additional songs that do that), but they also blend genres in more seamless ways sometimes. For example, their last album had a song that was a country/reggaeton blend. I believe the actual thinking behind their concept is that the members are talented and versatile enough to sing any type or genre of music, and so the switch-ups are meant to showcase this. They don't actually seem to have a core "sound" beyond that. Anyway, I hope you get to the songs on their most recent mini, I think it's one of the best releases in k-pop history, and three of the songs from it were promoted.
As someone who likes to go in completely blind, I appreciate this kind of information to know that this is kind of their thing. Maybe we'll check out the latest mini next? Also.... JYP promoted 3 songs off their mini? I know a company who could learn from this.

Im late but I think you like stan Red Velvet and like their weird stuff. Its easier to get passed the "This is really weird" phase of nmixx. Even though they have diffferent concepts and vibes. I think uniqueness is big for these two groups.
Nmixx has a concept that is even mentioned in they name with the "mixx" basically they mix several beats in a song which makes it strange at first but latlely you get used to it.
