Thank you so much for sharing these updates so we can see what is actually happening. Is there a way to get a list of business owners websites so we can order online when they are able to take orders? I imagine it will take some time to get any brick and mortars back up and running but maybe online orders could help.

I appreciate Art and Bri showing us because I live in Minnesota. I wouldn't know the magnitude of things. I appreciate when he was sharing to bring enough to that heart of prayer. Bring us to that heart of every person that is there helping. My heart is so broken for the people that were affected. I have family and my niece right now was in Florida and she tried to get away as far as she could from the storm and they hope they are safe. II have been praying and I will continue to be praying Art, Bri And every sweet person whose lives are trying to figure out from the devastation. Lord Jesus we lift up each person, family who have been affected. Thank you for the people who are there helping. We ask that each need these precious people need is met. Lord we ask your hand of restoration in lives, homes and businesses. We stand with them ALL from afar. Wrap them in your loving arms Jesus ❤

The only way that we can know what's going on is the videos, and they should keep coming until life begins to come back to normal for y'all. You're not exploiting anyone. You're showing America what the media will not. Thank you, Arthur. Oklahoma has a lot of linemen and other volunteers there helping. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected.

I live in neighboring Haywood County and we have pockets of severe damage but truly the river arts district which was such a vibrant hub of business for Asheville and surrounding areas is truly a massive loss for the entire western NC area. Blessings ❤

My heart hurts so bad for the Asheville area. I stayed there overnight a year ago last May, and was so impressed by the beauty of the area, I decided I wanted to come back and spend more time there. My sister and I had made plans to drive the entire length of the Blue Ridge Parkway, and spend some more time in Asheville later this month, but our plans fell through. Now I know why. We still want to make the trip when things are up and running again. I know it’s not going to happen overnight. It took several years for Jacksonville, NC to recover from hurricane Florence, and Helene has done way more destruction. Still, I want to return to the area as soon as possible, if just to support the local businesses that are open. I am keeping the whole region in my prayers. Thank you for showing us why we need to keep praying!

Watching all this footage over the last week and a half is mind boggling. This will take not only years, but probably at least a couple of generations for some of those affected to recover. I can speak from experience down on the coast from prior floods from Floyd and Florence where my family had devastating losses each time. Obviously it was no where close to this extreme. Though you may recover material things, you will never recover peace of mind because the thoughts are always with you. Definitely keeping all who have been touched by this in my prayers. I only wish I had the opportunity to go and be boots on the ground.

Thank you for your unbiased reporting in Ashville and surroundings. You are showing what, and who is on the ground, truthfully. No drama, just the real thing.
I truly hope we can see more National help, but so far not seeing much. I want to believe they are there in force, but still mostly seeing neighbor helping neighbor.
There is such a need, and thank you for showing us the real thing....not just hand picking of what certain groups want shown.
So many of our emergency response people are needed and need to be see.
I trust you to show us, Art.

Cell phone videos are way more dependable than the mainstream . . . but many just want to hear a mainstream story, whatever it is, and not to really look into things. And that's their right, no? There are still plenty of weirdos like me who want to be free of all the news dependency. And I believe Art is such a one. And thank you for this, Art.

Thank you for sharing. We are up in Ohio but all of our family on my husbands side lives in the hard hit areas NC/TN. It took 9 days till we could reach them by Facebook to find out about everyone. One of his cousins in Winston Salem is a highway patrol officer and is heading over with supplies. I would love to come to help but I know they don’t want people coming in right now. We are heartbroken 💔 😢. Your videos make us feel a little closer to everyone. And now Milton is heading towards my brother in Florida. We feel so helpless!

I’m up Hwy 151 in candler on Mt Pisgah, we just got power on in my neighborhood yesterday. Unfortunately a tree fell on my house Friday morning when the storm hit. It trapped me in my back bedroom and I had to go out my window but everyone is safe and sound. My kids were with their mom in Marshall and only lost power for 4/5 days. The back 3 rooms and bathroom of my house were destroyed but I’m thankful. 🙏 A lot of people have it worse than me and my family. Keep WNC in your prayers please

Yes, a lot of the INDUSTRY even - which all are struggling right now - will not be able to come back.
And yes, support from all over the country IS THERE and will be there. People won't know that until they can get out and see them!. So just know help is there, help is coming. Folks need to make sure they are accounted for at the relief centers - so planners have a HEADCOUNT, and an idea of needs, funds needed. Whole towns, roads, bridges, railways, are just GONE.
PEOPLE HELPING THEMSELVES, PEOPLE HELPING OTHERS is the way to go. If you can: clear what you can, starting from where you are, toward help. Then when help gets to you, they don't have that to do. Pay attention to vehicles in your area, what is getting through. If deliveries, mail, equipment are getting through. Do what you can. DON'T put yourself in danger, though.
Thanks for this, Bri. Good look at the status of things, the good, and the destroyed. FYI, reports are that your area, west, are the hardest hit.

The loss is overwhelming. Although I would love to see the place rebuilt, I can understand business owners not wanting to rebuild in areas that could be subjected to the same type of flooding again. Many businesses get through the year on leaf season tourist and I don’t think there are too many businesses left now. Insurance isn’t assisting in many cases. No flood insurance coverage for the majority there. I don’t think it will ever be the same. I am from NC and have spent years in these affected areas. it’s heart wrenching to see these all the areas destroyed by this storm.
