- omg! us CP's were invited to a super special after-hours event at animal kingdom! meet some of my friends who make magic here at walt disney world. Join us as we dance the night away, eat free food, and ride some of our fave attractions.
I want to say a super special thank you to all of the cast members who worked during this event and made it super magical for all of my friends and our fellow CPs.

After nearly 6 years of wanting to work for Disney - I can officially say that I got accepted to the DCP for April 25 - October 20th, I am so unbelievably excited to be there and spend time with everyone and create memories and magic for everyone! this is so excited omg

I have been following people’s Disney College Program journeys since I was nine and I’m going to be 14 soon and I truly believe that when I am of age I most certainly will be participating in the dcp. I feel like I keep coming back to it and seeing your videos and other creators videos about it makes me so happy and fills me with so much joy! I really hope you’re having the time of your life.

I’ve heard about the doc before but after watching your videos you’ve inspired me Caitlyn. Thank you so much this wouldn’t of been possible with out you. I have to wait 5 years but I’m willing to work hard. I’ve been using it as my motive in school and that has already got me far. I LOVE Disney and I hope to be apart of it just like you. I love watching your videos and it makes me happy to see the thing I love most almost every day. You seem like the nicest person ever and I think your amazing. Keep following your dreams and making everyday magical for the people who you work with and for the people that watch your videos.

I would like to start off my comment by saying Happy belated Thanksgiving from my family to yours.
This event looked awesome. My father and I would have loved to attend, as Animal Kingdom is our favorite park, but we aren't in the college program. And you guys deserve a couple of nights to yourselves for putting up with guests like us lol!
With that being said, I am truly curious of the night time procedures in regards to the animals that occur in AK after closing.
My father and I tend to engage in thought exercises on the bench by the gibbon exhibit. I often find myself wishing I could take their place, swinging atop the ancient temples where they reside with not a care in the world. But that is a more philosophical discussion, that I will save for another day.
Sidenote: If you have Disney plus I recommend the film "Becoming Cousteau", we watched it last night. Very interesting!
Also not a big fan of DJs... too loud, although I do enjoy dancing.

animal kingdom is such an underrated park! and i’m glad you can see the beauty in it ☺️ i think after park closes, a group of cast members will create a “wall” and start from the edges of the park and slowly make their way towards the exit, escorting guests out as they do so. we needed wristbands for the event, so they were able to distinguish CPs from the crowd!
it is so funny that you brought up that documentary, because i actually started watching it the other day! i was thoroughly enjoying it, especially because it could help me sharpen my french listening skills. i try to watch it without reading the interview subtitles 😂
the AK celebration looks like a blast! So cool that they gave y’all that opportunity!

Hi Caitlyn! I am so glad you are having such a great time. You have truly inspired me to apply for the DCP Program in my future years. I can’t apply for roughy another 4 years, but it will all be worth from what I have seen form your videos. I am always so joyed to see you post another video because it makes me think, “OH YAY! I can’t wait to see what she’s doing today!” You have brought more joy, passion, and motivation to my life than I could have asked for. Now, I do have a question about the program: Would you recommend applying during college or after? Once again, thank you for everything you do. Keep being awesome.

Do they have an area for you to change from your guest clothes to your eork costume at the poly or did you hace to go all the way back to flamingo to change? Im doing the dcp soon and curious how that would work! Also how many costumes can you have checked out at once?
yes! all work locations have locker rooms or at least backstage bathrooms that you can change in!
