Thoroughly entertaining series, congratulations guys. Looking forward to more. What I would like to see though is an episode/series where the angler fishes blind for the session without seeing what is happening. Therefore, you would see how the fish respond in normal circumstances. For example, Gaz decided not to recast as there were carp on the spot. But it would have been really interesting to see the fishes reaction to a recast above their heads and to see if they returned back to feed regardless. I understand that you’re trying to capture bites on camera etc. but surely the point is to see how the fish react/behave in a normal fishing scenario. Also, it would be great to use a variety of different methods/rigs to not just show what works, but to show why certain rigs etc. don’t work or are less effective. Everyone wants to watch films where carp are caught (me included) but I think people will learn more from videos which show why certain things DON’T work. We all know Gaz is a machine (as will anyone be in future episodes) and the rig mechanics etc. are extremely honed but let’s see how the fish react to the ‘Normal Anglers’ rigs, tactics and methods.
Thankyou!! That’s great to hear!! So many of the things you’ve mentioned are things that we will do, so it sounds like we are on the right path at least! From the blind to the normal anglers, it’s all coming 😎
Would be nice to see two rig’s on the spot.both same colour hook bait.but one with glug/goo.and one rig without anything on it. Enjoyed watching.thanks guys.
I think this is a great concept I’ll be getting subscription for sure fresh new look at things and not the general run of the mill fodder keep pushing lads the podcast was great to
Glad you enjoyed it :) We agree! But we’d stolen enough of Gaz’s time already - there a long interview with Gaz where we talk to him about the things he learned from the experience on Cypography already, along with the underwater films. So it would kind of been him repeating himself! You should check the films out! 💪🏻
Financial implications have meant my membership is on hold for a bit. I have seen most of the episodes. I enjoyed both the films and the podcast. Long form podcasts are good especially if it's an open conversation and in depth... not quite so rigid!
Would love to see underwater fishing not on clean spots but in the likes of deep silt, heavy weed and what not and you'd definitely learn a lot by that in difficult situations but also seeing what works and what doesnt in them environments.
I mentioned a few years back on your first underwater vids that i recon you could put a pink bait made from a good base mix out and it would work just as well as a heavily flavoured pink Glugged/Goo'd one. I did this myself a few years back and my catch rates were essentially the same. Now, that doesn't mean i stopped jazzing up my baits, i still do this JUST in case it makes a difference but seeing it underwater to see if fish home in on one in particular, and not just as a result of which direction they approach from would be amazing to see. Although i'm sure Korda etc would urge you NOT to do this :D as it'll highlight what a waste of money they are.
@@cypographycarpfishing There's only one way to find out Elliot :) I'm more than happy to be wrong about this, all data is good data in helping us catch our targets.
Great.. It would be interesting to view the effect of the intro change in non visible attraction, such as same bait and colour, different attractor level/type of attractor
Yes that was cool, I'd like to see more of this for sure! Yes please a submerge using running rigs. I always use running rigs now and have done since being done on Whelford Pools a couple of years ago. I now catch on nearly every session I do, Probably doubled my catch rate! I feel more confident knowing I'm using a lead system that people rarely use anymore. I'd just like to say I've been a cyp member for a number of years(I don't remember) I was on carpfix got viewer fatigue, Cinecarp good subscription type format now thats been scrapped and they're uploading all his videos for free on youtube, Carpangle got viewer fatigue. I wish korda did more films? Too rare for me, thats an ongoing frustration. The only other person I've followed/subbed too for as long as cyp is Carl Smith. The only thing for me is.. where the fck has Nigel gone? 😄(Sharp End) awesome stuff guys! Keep that shit up 🎣🎣🎣 I've just watched your time for a change video, ok.. interesting?! Now I get it 😆🙄 I assume you've all watched the Norton Disney Underwater?? I tried the shot on the hook? I'm sure you'll look into it.. I tried it, admittedly on a runs water but usually I catch between 2 and half a dozen, with a shot on the hook I caught 9 in 5 hours! Including a new PB for me 23lb 8oz I'm sold on it 😄
Really nice feedback to read so thanks for taking the time to write that message! We will do our best to cover everything, in time! Running rigs, noted! Shot on the hook is certainly interesting and no doubt Stokesy will be using it soon in our films! As for Nigel Sharp, we have an underwater with him coming soon 😎
I'd like to see that camera go on in morning an see the effects our leads have on carp or does it just mark our baited rigs as dangerous, probably not explaining it best
It’s on our subscription channel, there’s 5 films in GAZ’S underwater series, so loads to enjoy! Here’s the link; www.cypography.co.uk/the-hardwick-story-gaz-fareham-chapter-8
Would be good for the angler not to see what’s happening on screen in the session and see what they do, ie changing things as you would normally to see how if what they would naturally do change there trip for the better or worse
Tom makers fluro d rig hooked something like 16 out of 16....go watch the fox underwater. I also think it depends on the lake and the fish themselves......feeding behaviour etc
You should have hung around, you might have loved them! We’re not doing JUST underwater either, there will still be other bits! Hope to see you come back some time! 😊
So glad these podcasts are back. Really enjoyed
Great to hear!!! Thank you 😊

Would be great to listen to with other podcasts!

Get uncle Jim on the submerge 👌🏼

Incoming 😎 watch this space, have something cool coming!
More about rig length in relation to the size of fish you are fishing for, and figuring that out quickly and consistently is the key!???
Alll in good time 😎 we will experiment with all sorts 🙏
Steve renyards withy pool made me chuckle....got spat out 100 times

Personally, I could t disagree more with what you’re saying! But that’s just my opinion 😊

We’ve done a bit of messing around with that in an underwater film that’ll be coming in the future, are you a Cypography member out of curiosity?

Elaborate! Always interesting!!
I just wanna know where the discount codes are? 🤷
With modern camera tech, why can't you film at night with IR?
We’ve already caught carp under torch light, coming next month! It’s not easy though!!
