For anyone wondering Brook’s Law is the idea of “Adding manpower to a late software project makes it later” and when you do a quick google search you’ll see pictures correlating to this representing how a software team needs to have effective communication. 3 people 3 lines of communication, 4 people is 6 lines, 5 then means 10, going up to 10 people meaning 45 lines and of course this can get much bigger. So when you see something like “New video game “X” has largest development team to date” or things along those lines highlighting how many people are working on the project that doesn’t necessarily end up being a good thing
