I have checked the whole series of your vlog about Iceland tour..good job. May I know is google map is good enough to use in Iceland? What telco company can you recommend in Iceland? Can we get it in airport?
We were using Simmin but I’m pretty sure the others would work well too. If there is not many of you traveling together, portable wifi is an alternative since it can stay charged in the car while you're driving around the country. And yes, they are all available in the airport so dont worry!
As for navigation, we used a mixture of Waze and Google Maps (but mostly Maps), and managed to get to all the destinations mentioned in my vlog.

@@followjay2 i think portable wifi is a good choice too. We have 16 to travel together, using two big vans. Can we rent portable wifi at airport too?
@@junxingleong6697 yes they are available at the airport. But the downside of portable wifi is that all of you would have to gather close to gain access to wifi 😂 the other thing is that you'll have to ensure it's charged so that it doesn't run out of battery.
@@followjay2 yea, i have experience using portable wifi in other countries before. we will ready with many power bank to ensure the portable wifi has enough battery😁

Hi 你好 我想问你一下 关于冰岛的加油攻略。我看很多xhs加油需要 prepay 22000isk-30000isk。你们那时是用什么卡加油呢？在那里可以用bigpay或wise卡吗？
我们当时用的是credit card，有点忘了有没有prepay但印象中好像没有，可能debit 的话才需要prepay吧

@@winnieng4864 not really. If I recall correctly, for all the destinations that I've planned, only Dettifoss is linked to F-road; but still there is an alternative non-F route that we drove on.
Nevertheless, the type of camper van that we rented wasn't suited to be driven on F-roads and we were fine ✌🏻️

你好 马来西亚护照持有者是不需要visa的 我们是2018年去的，当时租车是不需要申请国际驾照的，现在我就不知道了，你可以问一下冰岛的租车行哦 😊

Just like most of any other countries, fresh food (meat, vegetable, fruit, etc) will not be allowed. Commercially packed snacks are usually okay.

Hi, can suggest Iceland car rental company? N prefer FWD or AWD?
@@leecheeseng8609 We went with Kukucamper back then and it was decent. As for 4WD, most of the roads don't require it. We went with a campervan and was able to visit nearly all the desired destinations.

可以考虑首都Reykjavik、Golden Circle (Geysir, Gullfoss, Thingvellir)、Jokulsarlon冰河湖那一带。还有时间的话，也可以到回去Kirkjufell山那一带逛逛 ☺️
