Of all the videos on this saw that are out there, this is one of the most useful and rather quite underrated. Thank you for posting it. Oddly enough, Mafell and their KSS 40 18v BL need to invest in videos such as this.
I don’t understand why this saw is not big on the joinery scene I bought one about 5 years ago I think it’s brilliant on sheet materials & trimming down doors VERY underrated.
Nice video, I have this saw as well as the ts55 track saw. When I'm on site I just bring my HK55 and rails from my track saw. The problem for me is that both saws shair the exact size blade except that the ts55 uses a 2mm blade while the HK55 uses a 1.8mm.so I have to choose which saw to use on the rail, or does it not matter because the inside of the blade is flush with the saw bed
The distance is the same for HK/C55 and TS/C55 New, which both use the thin-cutting saw blades. With the TS/C55 old with the 2.2 mm saw blades, slightly more of the splinter guard tends to be cut off There can be tolerances between saws and we recommend the rail is to match the individual saw.
