*Smooth operation and love the over sized handle! **enjoyable.fishing** recommend Casts nicely. Fished a recent tournament and used it... had no trouble landing a 6 lb Bass.*
I bought the ecooda branded version of this reel (pretty sure its exactly the same) - been using it for 4-5 years now offshore in Australia. Never opened it or serviced it and the thing still wont die? its actually a great reel for the price. At first the maximum drag I could get out of it was around 4kg - but as time went on the drage got better. I suspect it had some oil on the carbon drage at the beginning
I used Noeby Nonsuch JG1500 i have no problem w/ the reel , i like to JG1500 is the drag. last 2 weeks ago i caught 7 kilos of king mackerel using Jg1500 :)
I bought the 1500 model just to see how it goes while i wait for another reel. Compared to my ocea jigger, it isn’t as good quality mould casting etc but I actually like it. It’s nice and smooth. Not as silent as an oj but for the price i think it’s a good entry level reel. One thing i don’t like is the side switch is to turn the clicker on and off, not a spool lock like on the oj. I havent tested the “15kg” drag yet but hopefully it lives up to its claims. I fit 300m of pe 3 40lb x8 braid on mine with some room to spare.
It's on Amazon US right now for $145 US. I know it doesn't compare in quality to a Shimano Ocea Jigger but it looks to be worth $145US. They sell it under the Fiblink brand, but it is the same real branded NOEBY on the box and side plate.
You can try search Ryobi BT Jigger 50 or Nilure NEX ocean QN1500 in AliExpress/Shoppe. Ryobi is slightly cheaper than Nilure. But with online china products, do be prepared for headache if have issues or finding replacement parts in future...
@@jwanglerz8500 Mine and my friends are both bought in a same time both were have the same noise, but not as loud as the one shown on video, just a little bit noise
@@leopan723 you bought the OJ from authorized Shimano retailer? My OJ don't have grinding noise, it should be smooth when free spool, when under load and you reel really fast, it should have "humming" sound (which is normal under load) but should not be grinding noise.
@@leopan723 pls check if the spool touching the inside of the reel? If you hear grinding noise in free spool it could be the spool rubbing the reel body..
Thanks for the video, but i have to ask, what did you expect? Its 1/4 the price of an ocea jigger, or a saltiga 10. So its not going to be nearly as good.
Fast forward 2 years the reel costs $50 more. Noeby is making a name for it self as a fishing equipment seller not a knock off product they are 'branding' items with their badge. When you brand a item with your label its a stamp of your brands quality. Considering the quality of this reel and how expensive it is its not worth it even if its far less than a shimano or a daiwa version. Shimano and diawa charge their ammounts for quality assurance and refund policies. I think you will find the materials used is near the same in the reels.

This is jigging reel not a casting reel.. how do you cast?

Yes bro. OJ still my preference. There is another Chinese brand that copy OJ features "Nilure 1500" on AliExpress. Heard is quite good too

many different companies sell the same reel and just change the name on it
Thank you so much.. this video help me to save my money. I suppose to buy today in Ali Express. But I change my mind. Thanks 🙏
Almost bought it on Amazon today, but figure I watch some reviews first. Glad I found your video, and definitely not buying this reel. Thanks.
Don't buy this reel. Not worth it for SGD200. Have other cheaper option than this

Thats why good reels cost good money!!
No such thing as cheap and good 😂
I have the grinding noise on my brand new evergreen Oceanus and Ocea jigger,so maybe it was normal😅
Not sure about oceanus, but OJ should not have grinding noise. Suggest you bring it to Shimano authorized dealer to have it check.

Hi bro, i dont have high expectations, but this reel quality is just worse than other chinese crap, totally not usable. Its a coffee grinder tbh

Cheers for clip info, what do you know about CNC reels any good mate ?
So far there are no cheap stainless steel body reel. Don't waste money on getting one from Aliexpress
@@jwanglerz8500 cheers mate 😉
Did you checked the ryobi ga varius reel sir?i thought to buy it....
Hi Bro, been using various for few trips. So far no issue. Caught a 6kg grouper with it in my latest video
Is the bt50 jigger better than the varius or the fight sharks version? From ryobi?
It’s a shame as the rods are good.
