For any reading this is just odin’s version of “lunge”. All the standard attacking animations are different with odin’s sword and designed to help fill the gauge.
It cuts very close with the time limit. The only tip I can provide is make sure you level your Zantetsuken bar up to 5 and make sure all enemies are either immediately around you or in your line of vision when you charge and let go. That will instantly kill all enemies without a stagger bar or a smaller health pool with a stagger bar. Don't focus each wave on killing individual enemies and instead focus more on the gauge filling to 5. Most everything will die from the charge anyway. Good luck! Keep going at it! I know you can beat it! 😊
The way I did it was to get Zantetsuken built up to lvl 5, which instant kills every non-boss enemy on screen. I tried without lvl 5, but that was impossible! This is by far one of the harder if not the hardest trial.
@@TheStache777 This trial is brutal. I was able to do all of the others first try with no issues. I think I'm currently on 10 attempts and slowly going crazy
Also Reid, take Ring of Timely Strikes off for this one if you have it on, because it doesn't account for the full build up. Odin and Titan's trials I had to do manually.
@@ReidZer0 Yeah, this one was no fun! I have to say that the one thing I took away from it was "how" to play his set. It tricks you, because his "super" isn't really his super move. That's why his feat costs 5,000 due to the AoE insta-kill mechanic.
This trophy is driving me insane the only ones i struggle with are Garuda’s and Odin’s. I haven’t tried bahamuts but I think that one will also be hard cause much of his abilities are so bad
I agree! The only thing I noticed it helping me with was slowing the enemies on occasion. But yeah, I think it's a waste of an ability slot or most likely was not using it correctly. LoL This was definitely the hardest trial!
it's used to slow time right after a long combo (or in the middle of being thrown in a combo like Ultima's combos), it's pretty useful if you use it right
I agree when used alone, but it's only to offset that at level 5 Zantetsuken kills everything instantly on screen except bosses! Once you get the hang of it though his set is pretty fun to use! That being said, this was the hardest trial for me, followed by Garuda and then Titan.
I finished the Odin Trial 4:32 time left remaining! I finally did it! :)

Bahamut is easy when you max out his abilities and wings of light
Gotta be good with precision dodge if you struggle I recommend using the evasion ring
Bahamut is easy af, use satellite early on and keep spamming magic I got to over 8 minutes

Rift slip gives you time to land dancing steel in stage 3, it really isn’t great on stage 2.
Seeing everyone struggle made me nervous… but I found this incredibly easy, I got to the final boss with 4 minutes left
