Not bad fishing for and old geezer living in kirkcaldy now would love some local information as I've been a fisherman down south for 9 years I come up north and would love some local knowledge about fishing
@@michaelbird3226 would be great to meet up sometime with me and me olldman so u could show us the ropes up here always looking for local scottish knowledge on sea fishing ect
@@bluevenomx2 I'm unsure about West Wemyss never fished that, but along the coast a little i know you can get flatfish from the beach at Buckhaven also cod from the rocks along that way too. Kirkcaldy i normally fish that around the area of the old bus station get flatfish there and there is a handy car park practically on the beach. You can't fish the pier no access any more. I reckon if you were to fish by the steps at the far end of beach should be able to get fish from there. I have seen guys fishing from the prom itself but don't know if they had any luck or not. Bait would be mackerel ,bluey if possible worms would be the best bet rag or lug.
Hi Michael, obviously a bit windy, good perseverance. ... when i last investigated there was no permit on south bank and still queens rights... or is it permitted now do you know
That's the only bad thing about fishing that pier if there's any wind at all you can't get out of it. I've no idea, i just go by what is written on info you get with permit. I only know that permit covers area between bridges and from Tayport to Tentsmuir forest.
