With the Mystic we have on location, once you light the spinners, the bumpers and slings toggle them on and off. I find the game's a lot more interesting that way - it adds a layer of strategy beyond "get in the saucer, then rip spinners all day".
Cool I found this. I have played a few of the people in the tournament. I lived within walking distance to Starfighters Arcade which is Kevin Curtis home base. I also play against Kaylen a lot in KY. I've played against Carlos a few times too.
In the Daniel Rone vs Jack Slovacek match (3 hour mark), Daniel uses the player 2 plunge to practice timing his plunge. Shouldn't that be against the rules?
I don’t believe that’s illegal unless you are sitting there for a long time trying to find the plunge. The player still has to plunge the ball away. If he walked up and accidentally started playing a dead ball, because player 2 wasn’t being used, it would not count against him playing out of turn. If it was done on Jack’s ball different story.
I find Godzilla's just a smidge overrated. Is it a great game? Sure. Is it "the GOAT"? Hardly. For starters, a pin that qualifies as the GOAT doesn't have a left ramp that's borderline impossible to make without literal micrometer-level shot precision, nor does it have a shot whose sole purpose is to drain you down the middle when you make it. For whatever my two cents are worth, Foo Fighters is easily the best game made within the past decade. Incredible theme, outstanding art, and hands down the most amazing flow I've ever seen in a pin. Foo is one of the rare modern games I can play for hours without getting tired of it.
@@MisterVercetti The ramp isn't that hard. You have to ride the outside rail and you can't center the shot. Just try firing slightly later and you'll be good.
IFPA needs to give up on this player 1 and 3 nonsense. Not having to consider tilting through takes a skill element out of the game. Risk and reward is part of every game and this removes an important factor.
