IVECO | BioLNG Tour: on the road to net-zero emissions. STAGE 2: Amsterdam

After a 700 km drive, the bioLNG Tour towards net-zero emissions stopped in Amsterdam. We first talked with Gunther Maters, owner of the Koeltrans logistics company, and Marieke Knook, Business Development Manager, Commercial Road Transport for Shell, to learn how waste from supermarkets can be turned into bioLNG, helping haulers reduce emissions with a circular economy approach. We also interviewed Erik Goldberg, Manager at Renewi, and Léon van Bossum, Nordsol CEO & Partner, who explained us that a single facility can fuel LNG trucks for millions of kilometers, making bioLNG one of the biggest opportunities for the heavy-duty transport sector today.
