@@rustlervxlbrx5984 Own both, Maserati Granturismo is very reliable, the infotainment system is also much better now, it has Uconnect, in terms of full size luxury sedans, Jaag is the sexiest, most fun, nimble, sustainable, eco-friendly (recycled aerospace aluminum construction), reliable, and timeless, aside from the Aston Martin Rapide which is much smaller.
I used to work for a Jaguar dealership in Miami back in the mid 90's right after high school, and my job was to help detail these cars as soon as they came off the transport trailers to get them ready for sale, I have driven thousands of these cars. I remember customers would come to the dealership complaining about the many issues they had with their brand new Jaguars. A few months ago I went back to that dealership to visit a friend who still works in the service department and he tells me that these still break down often, the only difference is, they are simply newer. LOL
Had a 2007 XKL and now drive an XJL SC. Loved them both but the new one is a beast. Drives way better, power unlimited, way more reliable and just the nicer car all around. And it gets lots of attention. I think Jaguar did the right thing with the new design and IMO it's still a Jag. Unique and exclusive. If I wasn't afraid of the new one coming out in two years I'd buy an XJL R.
loved the car, the color combo AND the brutal sound .. and also loved that white mercedes SL 0:40 reminds me of the very first time i watched your videos 3 or 4 years ago it was the 1985 380SL review you did back in 2009, i think my comment is still there .. keep up the good work kyle !
HOLY CRAP DUDE!!! your amazing you just reviewed my dream car. YOU ARE THE BEST FOR THE BEST KYLE KEEP IT UP!!! keep reviewing cars like this you make my day.
I am searching for an XJR long wheelbase just like this one in Slate Gray and an all black interior. He is spot on about the interior quality and amazing attention to detail. To see the interior like this in all black is an interesting study in black and gray tones and textures that look simply amazing! Try one! You'll be hooked!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH KYLE O MY GOD YOU MADE MY DAY THIS IS MY DREAM CAR!! I love watching your videos they are the best ! Please try to make more jag videos I love jaguar. Thank you so much Kyle I'm so happy I love this car as always you never disappointed me I love your reviews from David
I'm on my fourth used Jaguar. My current ride is a 2001 XJR. Since the late 90s Jags have been super reliable, comparable to Lexus. If you live near a non-dealer Jaguar service specialist, a used modern Jag is a bargain and a fantastic car. Best source for a used Jag? Private sellers on Craigslist.
It's an expensive bargain. This car is better than the S-class, 7-series, A8, and LS. I doubt any of the mainstream luxury car makers can beat this car.
They can beat it with slightly more expensive cars. But the thing is, if you have $100,000+ to spend, why not get the better car? Because I seriously doubt that this Jag, albeit a great car, can put its power down like an S63 or an S8. But if Clarkson likes it, I'm sold.
It does, my Supersport and R pull harder than my S63 and Aston, amazing car, a bargain at a 140k and a168k new compared to 180 and 250-300k for the Aston@@Sentraman4
you know when he closed the doors, windows and oped the radio volume i had one great feeling! A FEELING that made me RELAXED ,safe ohhh and remember me of long trips with luxury:) SHIT MONEY BUY HAPPINESS.
I always like your videos of any car because u do more details then the brochure of any car keep up the awesome and fantasic work:) I hope u be around for a long time:):)
Beautiful car indeed few of my friends have them. If you have access to these cars you will notice its slighty lacking behind the benchmark brands. Thats why they dont sell very well. Its tough, With similiar pricing folks often choose the merc or bmw competitor. The Jag is still a beast, they also depreciate quickly my cousin just picked one up with 35k miles for 37k 2012 when it comes to this segment the S550 is king IMO but then again opinions very..
As a long time Jaguar owner and enthusiest I'm trying my best to love this car. It does have some technology, exterior & interior elements I like. I just wish the redesign had kept some of the old world British luxury styling in the front end with the dual round head lamps like Bentley did with the Mulsanne & Flying Spur models. Remove the growler badge in the center of the grille and bring back the hood leaper. Even the interior dash board and console lack the thick gorgeous burlwalnut. When you get in this car you don't feel like your in British luxury anymore, it's just not as stately as it used to be. When you get in the previous generation Jaguars you felt like you were in a poor man's Rolls Royce or Bentley, but not in this car.
If Jaguar continued down that road instead of adapting to what the current market wants them Jaguar would have been in the dirt 2 or 3 years after this came out. Jaguar somehow saved themselves at the PERFECT time because their lineup was getting stale. Their flagship cars looked like the cars they designed in the 80's... Because they were. This is an all new chassis that the car REALLLYY needed
Kyle, I liked your experimental review of the back seat space. I think you should keep doing it in your future reviews, just make sure to get a microphone for yourself, as it was a bit difficult to make out what you were saying.
I like the design of this vehicle. It entirely looks exactly like a luxury full size sedan that I could prefer this over Rolls-Royce or Bentley Flying Spur
Hey Kyle I would really appreciate if you'd do an in depth for the new Suzuki Swift Sport! Love your reviews and you just earned a new subscriber. Cheers mate.
Love these videos. Can you play Rock songs while you are demonstrating the infotainment systems like you did before. It used to be so much better than what you listen to now.
@ Alex Croak yes they sound thin. Throaty but thin, and it breaks up in the higher rpm range. With that power it should be thick and bassy like a mustang.
Beautiful machine though i'm not convinced about those exhaust pipes. It maybe the limitations of the microphone but when the engine is revved it doesn't sound very refined.
Check out the difference in the fuel level just from revving it a few times... 2:53 and 5:40 But then again if you can afford this car then you're not the kind of person who worries too much about that sort of thing.
You don't see a lot of jaguar on the road so when someone drive a jaguar is definitely 100% head turner.. It's a rare car on the road..
I love how Jaguar builds a luxury car for people who like to hear that beastly engine from time to time, and yet somehow unbelievably quiet inside.
Time Fu disgust ty 6r try by butt!!!!! @
Lois Crawford How insightful.
Lois Crawford What language is that?
Me too
I hate when dealers put their stickers on the back of cars especially luxuries -_-
I always make them take those dealership stickers off before I agree to purchase!
That 5.0 supercharged V8 is the best sounding V8 money can buy. Absolutely filthy.
You know I'm not a fan of jaguars but I do have to admit this think sounds amazing and looks amazing as well
***** See ? Nobody cares !
@Mexico City yes and so does its reliability

Challenger rt 5.7 hemi sound way better and will cost less than half. But the jag is more luxurious.... but yeah sound is kk
I really like big roomy boat cars. This is one of my favorites. XJL. I'm not that ballin so I just got a chrysler 300.
One day you will 👏👏
Have you looked at the used market these days? I think you'll be very pleased at what you can find
@@code0662 crazy because used car market is at a high right now and these cars are still really cheap
Im in Love! The note of that exhaust actually sounds like a Roar coming straight out of a hungry Jaguar about to stalk its prey!
Cars in 2014 are just amazing. So much technology.

back in January I commented that that it was a nasty monster but now I think it's a beast it sounds great :)

Ultimate super saloon for me. Limo + super car performance and cat walk model styling, this Jag has it all.
It's just.....the definition of perfect for me.
I'm in love. 😍
Saw a Supersport the other day, sounds menacing

Kyle you do a great job on these reviews. You are appreciated!
Oh. My. God.
That car is awesome!!! Love the sound!
I can't wait for my dealership to get this.. What a car!
Exhaust sound like a jaguars roar. Was this intentional jaguar?
THANK YOU SO MUCH KYLE O MY GOD YOU MADE MY DAY THIS IS MY DREAM CAR!! I love watching your videos they are the best ! Please try to make more jag videos I love jaguar. Thank you so much Kyle I'm so happy I love this car as always you never disappointed me I love your reviews from David
great video as always! I watch all of your videos you upload just because the amount of specs and info you give about them
These look gorgeous in person. Definitely a fan.
You never Disappoint with these reviews !
Not a fan of the interior but Jaguar has the best exhaust in the game.
lol AMG
The 4.0 is meh for me, but the old 6.2 was the best sounding V8 on the planet.
Fact: this car is the second fastest full size sedan on earth right now following the Dodge Challenger SRT8... True, go search it...
What??? The S Class is a full size sedan... what u smoking??? Lol
Oh OK I understand what u r saying
+fabian wtf are u stupid the e class is the middle size sedan and the mercedes s class is the full size sedan like wtf

I didn't even know this version existed holy crap its baddass
Even almost in 2023 it still holds up with the looks
Wow this Jag is just orgasmic except for that horrifically large steering wheel. Saabkyle04 your the best. Love your videos!
Your vids are better than capt421 will ever be. Excellent review as always.
You give the best car reviews keep it up

4:51. ''Yo when you put the vehicle in sport mode...'' made me laugh :)
Wow! What an amazing exhaust tone! Loved it!
my favorite part... when he closes the door at 32:39 and all outside noise ceases to exist.
watching this again for the millionth time
Sounds like a lovely jaguar :3

I drink to that....
Didn't know ashtrays were an option in current vehicles, sweet.
Wow, a very unique exhaust note. Sounds like a growling cat. Suits the name Jaguar well!
The Jaguar XJR L is an awesome car and overall is well liked.
Horsepower is a little bit 2 much for the chassis though.
gorgeous car
the power and the luxe in one car
I just fell in love with this jag!.
I enjoy watching these videos of the Jaguar love to see more thank you
Sounds like a beast. But I would definitely upgrade the exhaust so it wouldn’t sound as raspy
i've been waiting for this one for a while now.... i'm not disappointed :D

Very nice and detailed review.

Also when the BMW I8 comes out, could you possibly do a review on that. Loving the videos though, best guy around.
Excellent review as always !! cant wait to see new phantom coupe review !!
So beautiful, but hope you can post XF-RS and XK-RS GT
It actually sounds like it snarls! I love jags, but is their reliability any better?
unreliable like always lol. It's english engineering. Where reliabile is not considered haha.
Jacky L. Well, our 2004 S-Type 2.7D has done over 125 thousand miles without any excessive service stops, so maybe all of them aren't so bad?
Jacky L. Perhaps that the mark of the well off English gentleman. He can afford an unreliable car.
Jacky L. Well my S-type 4.2 L has been reliable too, maybe it would be time to stop saying that if you've never owned a beautiful Jag -_-
I love all videos your performance..:)
I like the design of this vehicle. It entirely looks exactly like a luxury full size sedan that I could prefer this over Rolls-Royce or Bentley Flying Spur
I feel like square exhausts like on the c63 would compliment this car a lot better
Saabkyle04 where do you get your music? sounds good :-) Nice review btw
wow such a great exhaust sound.
Hey Kyle I would really appreciate if you'd do an in depth for the new Suzuki Swift Sport! Love your reviews and you just earned a new subscriber. Cheers mate.
Where the fog lights are is what the exhausts should look like at the back
Yall wish me luck i plan to get one when I turn 19
i've been waiting for this thanks :D
If this car were a woman, her and I would never leave the bedroom ;)
Can I join in the bed
Name her after me...???
Damn, i love this guy!
The look and handling, about 400kg lighter than competition, Nuff said.
Love that car! What a beauty
Very informative love the video
In my opinion this beats the Mercedes s65 amg. I love this jag.
My brothers girlfriend has a new merc, she prefers to drive my brothers Jag and that's a few years old, it just wafts along and so quite.
I've always loved Jags but must admit I prefer my E-Class Bluenote quite a bit more.
You mean the S class
the car sounds like an actual jaguar
jaguar seems to really pay attention to the exhaust sound
can you close the left door pelase?
NICE 2014 Jaguar XJR L Supercharged AND GRATE VIDEOS
Jaguar needs to introduce a new xjl r with a v12
Love these videos. Can you play Rock songs while you are demonstrating the infotainment systems like you did before. It used to be so much better than what you listen to now.
Great review. Can you do the Infiniti Q50 review one day
@ Alex Croak yes they sound thin. Throaty but thin, and it breaks up in the higher rpm range. With that power it should be thick and bassy like a mustang.
Stunning motor.
Great vid Kyle as always :) , can you do the new range rover

Can you please make a video about the 2014 Audi A5?
awesome audio syst...!!
Very nice interior. Needs bigger wheels though
