@@ploo1492 I imagine myself as Emet Selch just sitting in Amaurot after a day of trying to search for a way bring back your people and sulking away my immortal life remembering the days. To be branded as "evil" yet these living beings don't even understand what you had to endure and what you want. Your friends. Your family. Your life. You just want these back. You just want to go back home.

Even to this day, the Tempest is used for a lot of things: to educate adventurers on the plight of the Ancients through the Amaurot Final Days simulation and supplemental journey through Akadaemia Anyder; the showdown with Archaeotania at the Swallowed Spire, hunt trains and three-nut Clan Hunts, or simply finishing leveling a main or alt job through FATEs. Emet-Selch's legacy as a true indispensable teacher of Ascian lore is felt to its fullest extent here in the Tempest.

One of the best character ever, FFXIV team outdone themselves; this is a kind of story telling even books find difficult to match :)
Your tribute videos are criminally underrated.
Something that occurred to me a while ago was that Emet and WoL is almost the same as Cipher and Pixy from Ace Combat Zero.

@@TransientWitch You realize that Shadowbringers proves that's not true, right? The WoL was dead. G'raha traveled through time and changed the destiny of two worlds.
@@MissKashira He didn't bring back someone by sacrificing others though. He traveled in time and negated it from happening in the first place.
Plus the original timeline is still going. We're still dead in that timeline, so we're currently in an Alternate one.

I've played through the msq, replayed through on the new game+, playing again for my mom to see and experience it for her self... I just now with this video caught what was there in that last little tidbit from the professor... I feel like an idiot. Does your genius know any boundrys? Great work as always friend.
