Awesome tutorial. Really well done. I know I had trouble figuring out the Gamecrafter when I first started, was a bit of an intimidating task figuring out how it all worked. Nice to see people making an effort to help out new TCG Makers. Awesome Vid!
Hey, I don't know if you know this, but, where I am the school i'm at is close to a library, so after school there is about 5 people (other than me) that play Chaos Galaxy. I am using a Rokah deck I made. No one there other than me use one. I just wanted to ask, what is a time you can make more Rokah cards? Because one person there who has a Palicium deck that he has all Palicium cards in and I have about 70% Rokah cards, and he beats everyone. Can you make some more strong and or ability cards for Rokah?

I have started making my own card game and so far have nearly 20 cards and im hoping to upload them to thegamecrafter as soon as I have done them all I am aiming for about 100 for my first set this has helped me get to know how to use the game crafter thanks

Creature, item, planet cards, health and block, and damage. Example: damage 50, if someone with 50 damage attacks someone with 30 block, it does 20 damage,

Another option for making fraction rarities is buying the packs with the odds in mind, then cutting the pack in half for each rarity (1 pack would end up with an extra rare, while the other would end up with 1 ridiculously rare). You could also cut the ordered packs in higher fractions, if say you want to have a 25% chance of a pack having a ridiculously rare.
The website has updated a bit since this was made but would love a new updated version on how to make them currently. 😁

Hello. I found your channel a whole ago. I already loved making my own TCG cards in middle School and what not. But now I'm out of school and when I found your channel, it inspired me to make my own game officially. Do you have any tips to help me out. Could you show us how to make a simple card and pack using a free photo editing software
In the getting started section their tells us what design program can be used and there are much more than the 5 that we can choose in template, how to do with gimp?
Will card backs be uniform? Or uniformly offset within the safe zone? This is important so certain cards cannot be identified by knowing the cardback of a particular card was slightly offset.
This is ultimately my only alternative if I need to perfect my CCG mechanics for my Unity game project.

Okay I think too add rules, you just make a rule card. This is too make an actual deck of card that can be sold. Not a online template to play your game on.
@ChaosGalaxyTCG do you have a Copyright, Patent, or Trade Mark on your game? if so how did you get it and or them?
Raiouza the Vanguard of Royal Paladin I might make a video on this, but basically, because of all my TH-cam videos, there are years worth of evidence to show that all the cards I've made are my ideas, so if anyone copies my stuff directly, I can just say that I've been making them for years and prove it. This is just a copyright, but patenting and trademarking is more professional but it costs money and has a few more complex rules
if u did make a video on this id greatly appreciate it, because im doing my best to make my own tcg as well but i have big dreams for it. if possible id like to make it to yugioh's extent, meaning ( has an anime, online playable versions of it, products that go with the game, tournaments and events, etc. ) but yea as u can c i am quite a dreamer, heck itd even be nice to have an irl youtube series for it like this channel called Impossible Studió / Yugioh Real Life Movie Series . they have this great irl yugioh youtube series and im just fascinated by it.
I made a pack thats 1 deck and 2 booster pack. I gave the deck a 72 card box and its still saying its too big. I think the booster pack cards are interfering with the deck and I don't know who to fix this. I need help, is there a way to seperated the deck and booster pack?

I have a question that is quite different from what you showed. I am trying to make a tcg however, I already made the cards on paint.net and I don't know how to exactly translate the card from normal picture to being able to go into the gamecrafter's template.
It will say the pixels that it needs to be and if it is not that many pixels then it will not work. Was that your question?
Can you set a pack to where only you can buy it? If you can do that you can buy it and sell it on your lonesome here and there as prizes or the like

Hey does anyone know if the Gamecrafter automatically fixes problems with brightness when printing your cards? I have a couple of pictures that look great on screen but are too dark to look at easily on paper. Will the gamecrafter automatically fix that? Or would I have to send in a lighter picture in the uploaded gamecrafter files in order to get it to work? Thanks for the help guys.
Thank you for this! I have a thought about cards' rarity in boosters. Say I have 3 different Rare cards rarity levels and want to include one of them in every booster pack. Wouldn't it be easiest to create category called Rare and then just upload & add 50 cards to it: 30 Rare cards, 15 Super Rare cards and 5 Ultimate Rare cards? This way you would get one card in rare slot in each pack but it would be the hardest to get Ultimate one. What do you think about this solution?

Zack, I wonder why you use gamecrafter, since it is US based. Im currently trying to make a TCG and looking into the future, I see problems for me as someone living in Europe. Please help me with some tips :D
