I’ve had the case in the past and you just have to push down the switch nothing will happen to the dock or the switch it still works the same just a little harder to take out and you get used to it

Honestly these suck, I have the bear type and you have to push it down and it feels like you're ripping it out the Dock I hate them. Plus the joycon ones suck because if you're playing a game that needs two buttons held like a and x the thumb doesn't rest well so it's hard to jump or whatever the other button does. They honestly suck, I'd recommend a clear case tbh ones with cut out around the whole button pad than individual buttons. If you want to make it look nice use a skin and clear case (although when docking it can also be hard but im sure if you remove the glass screen protector it'll slide in better) but honestly these suck inc getting them on and off

@raven I got a Switch for my birthday this February 2nd! I used my saved up $250 for games and a controller, sadly I'm still having a hard time deciding whch skin to choose and where to buy it since most of the skins I see are aesthetic and mainly for grls (I'm a guy.)
Are these cases safe for a switch? It doesn’t make them overheat or anything ? I’m just looking out for the health of my switch. I know the skins are bad for them so I won’t be buying any of them

It has spaces where it won’t overheat. But I feel like extra stuff ina switch makes it overheat faster so the cases you can just pop off when you feel like it needs a break and pop it back on.

Some skins make them overheat but the switch has a fan built in the top of it that doesn't get covered by the skin or the case
